While perusing ANN, I found two shows that look they might be worth checking out.

The first one is:

Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend

http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news...d-anime/.82293

Just the fact that the guy is trying to earn money for a blu ray? haha
I guess this is a slice of life style one?

And the second is:

Gate: Jiei-tai Ka no Chi ni te

http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news...v-anime/.82368

And this one...I mean JDF and and elf girl? What isn't there to like. Well at least for me since I have a soft spot for military type anime. Cough cough GwG...Strike Witches.

Level-5 president Akihiro Hino announced at the Eiga Yōkai Watch Tanjō no Himitsu da Nyan! event on Saturday that the anime Yōkai Watch will be broadcast overseas. Hino specifically mentioned America and Europe, but said there would be other regions.

Hino stated that, although many of the Yo-kai's names will be changed, Jibanyan and Whisper's will remain the same. He asked the characters' respective voice actors, Etsuko Kozakura and Tomokazu Seki, to "study English."

Dentsu Entertainment USA began looking for broadcast and merchandise partners for the franchise in the Americas earlier this year. Hino previously confirmed that the franchise found an overseas toymaker, but did not specify whether the franchise would get a Western release.

The story begins when Kēta discovers an old capsule toy vending machine in the forest. Kēta receives a mysterious watch and meets a ghost named Whisper. Whisper tells Kēta that the watch allows him to see supernatural creatures — both good and evil — that he could not see before in everyday life. With Whisper and his other companion Jibanyan, Kēta explores his town for other ghosts to battle or befriend.

Game developer Level-5 announced the Yōkai Watch franchise in 2011 with a game, manga, and anime already planned. The franchise's first game for the Nintendo 3DS debuted in Japan last July, and the anime premiered this past January. The latest game in the franchise, a third version of Yōkai Watch 2, shipped last Saturday.

Girls and bears? Girls with guns and bears? I think GwG found his newest show.

Quote:
Funimation describes the story:

After an asteroid explosion and meteor shower lit up the sky over planet earth, strange adorable bears began to attack and devour humans. The earthlings responded with violence of their own, and in the end, a massive barrier – the Wall of Extinction – was erected to separate man from bear. This fragile peace lasted until two high school girls encounter a yuri flower blooming – only to be shaken by the piercing warning of the Bear Alarm! Once again, bear and man- or bear and girl -will be pitted against each other in a deadly and mysterious showdown—brought to you buy Kunihiko Ikuhara, the director of Sailor Moon and Revolutionary Girl Uten

I'm intrigued but frightened at the same time...

And a 2nd Kamisama Kiss Season...I wonder if we'll get another Goddess Edition if Funi even get the show 2 years from now haha.

Think it could finally get an ending? I know it's why I haven't watched it.

Doubt it, from what I hear it did so bad in Japan as well that it probably won't.
I would hope so as I enjoyed it for what it was. Kind of gory with isn't my thing but the story was interesting. The dub though...man his voice haha.

Yeah, I've never been to big on gorey anime. The story sounded interesting, so I wanted to watch it, but then I heard it had no ending so... Yeah.

Not sure but I believe the US release might be edited as well.
There was a scene. Where an eye was being removed and it didn't show that. It grayed/bight lighted it out. At least I think it might be censored.

Oh yeah, when I was reading up on the anime classics version, apparently every us release (streaming, television, and disk) is edited for gore.

It is odd because usually the US is more prone to edit out sexual stuff versus violence.

I dunno. It's certainly strange. I wonder how Tokyo Ghoul will be handled?

I haven't seen it but heard interesting things about it.
I am not opposed to it per say it just sometimes hard to watch. After seeing somethings in Iraq, you really see violence in a slightly different light I guess. I think that i why I have a lot more comedy and slice of life anime. It also is another reason why I like SAO so much. I guess their struggle and then final outcome was nice.

My fiancé had a sort of similar experience, so really gory anime, games and film are hard for her to take sometimes as well. I prefer slice of life, comedy, and lighter series as well. Not the uber violent action stuff. Sometimes I'll watch some, but I really just like to sit back and have fun with my anime after work.
