Default Big Hero Six appearances in Marvel books

So these are fun books for me to be getting...except that, their "first appearances" seem skewed from the info I have seen. For some reason, Alpha Flight (Vol.2) #16 is said to have a cameo first appearance of Honey Lemon, while #17 features most of the rest of the team's debuts. Meanwhile, Sunfire & Big Hero 6 #1 isn't considered anything other than the first issue of a mini-series for them.

But...according to the Marvel Fandom Wiki, here are the release dates for those three books:

Sunfire & Big Hero 6 #1 (September 1998)
Alpha Flight #16 (November 1998)
Alpha Flight #17 December 1998)

So by those dates, Sunfire & Big Hero 6 is obviously their first appearance...but even the giant annual Overstreet book shows it the way I wrote at the beginning.

Uh...what am I missing?

All of that being said, I also JUST bought Big Hero 6 #'s 1 & 2 on ebay. #1 to this series has the first appearances of Fred and Wasabi. Can't wait to get them!
