Can’t wait for the third movie this year, this series is so under appreciated

Valid point. However, I was referring more to the idea that an HDR pass would seem moot considering Zombie wanted the film to look dirty and dingy.

Keep in mind, I’m not too familiar with UHD aside from owning a few of ‘em.

Do you know where to contact them at? Tried navigating their site and nothing was obvious. Tried reaching out through twitter, but no response.

Unless it's a brand new purchase Lionsgate won't be replacing discs. Most all of their early releases from 2007 - 2008 have high failure rates but they have never so much as acknowledged the issue. You'll just need to re-buy the disc.

I contacted LG about 2 yrs ago in regards to MBV, Lock Up, The Devils Rejects and a couple of others I've owned which bronzed and failed, I got the response back that they were unaware of any issues with any of their BD releases and suggested it was my player.

That really sucks. I get saying "sorry, but we can't help you with MBV or anything they no longer have rights to". But they still have this in cheap bins across the world. Saying it's not them but your player is pure assholism.

Just happy to have dodged these bullets from them, esp. after hearing they have no customer service. Not owning up to a well known issue in the field is just horrible and makes me want to boycott them. They have too many ****ing titles for that though.

Default The Devils Rejects (2005)

Purchased "The Devils Rejects" blu-ray on Amazon for 9.99 but HAD to also place an order for the 2-disc dvd, as almost all of the features included the exhaustive documentary on the making of the film are missing. I would highly recommend to compliment your blu with the dvd version as well. Also, heres to hoping we see a 4k UHD release for this as well as House of 1000 Corpses!

Kinda seems like the best time to have released the previous two in 4K, would've been along with the third film this month. Unless Lionsgate wanted to use 3 From Hell to gauge interest in the others. Oh well, ship might've sailed for now. Would've loved a 4K trilogy set.

Yup, a 4K box set of the 3 movies would have been really nice. But they didn't even bother, so I don't see any 4K's happening any time soon (if ever) for the first 2.

Lionsgate has said they plan to upgrade their top 100 titles. No way this isn't on that list.

Hopefully they'll pop the doco on the UHD, even if it's in SD resolution. Can't see them remastering the BD or adding a second disc. The UK BD actually does include the doco, but the tradeoff is that it only has lossy audio (and it's a bit hard to find now).

I just force on the hdr on my oppo for this disc and 1,000 Corpses, to watch in 4k hdr. It totally solidifies and even deepens the colors a bit, but doesn't add the kind of noise I thought it would, and sometimes does.(which I thought would've added nicely to the rough textures)It actually looks so much better I'm kind of amazed, especially HO1kCorpses.

You know Rob Zombie makes independent B movies and they're shot on a low shoestring budget, so they're not going to look like a big budget, multi-million dollar Hollywood blockbuster.

House is definitely his nicest-looking work, along with Halloween, those two being shot on 35mm while most of the others were shot on 16mm or digital.

Bought this used off Amazon, looks like it's bronzing, Kind of don't even want to try it because I'll get halfway through and it will stop playing. These early LG are some of the worst for this

Just fast forward through it and if it gets starts skipping you'll know something is wrong. I bought this new about two years ago from Amazon, and still no signs of bronzing.

I pre-ordered the new Target Firefly Trilogy Steelbook that comes out next month.Hopfully there are no issues for the disks for the first two films since I assumed they are the previous released disks repackaged in this new release.

I just pulled mine out of the shelf and there are read errors midway thru. It doesn't really look bronze but another failure to boot.

Anyone have the Italian release? It's a BD50 AVC disc with 5.1 DTS-HD MA. Next time I do an order from Italy, I will include it
