Lol, no. I just use it because a lot of people classify certain movies slasher films when they are not. There's a certain approach to a true slasher film. I use that term when there's a killer stalking and killing people but it's not really a whodunit or a mystery per se. Same as I don't classy Gialli as slashers because they add a few different ingredients to the formula.

And that's what it is all about for me. The formula.

More than likely. We’ve had a lot of issues with the elements but we are almost there.

Just curious, If you ever get movies that have never been released on home video, How do you come up with a Cover?

Do you work with the director or studio or use the poster?

It’s always a case by case basis with what’s available.

Yes, it’s still being worked on. We found the original tape elements along with the original sound elements. However, both were in rough shape with mold and even worse it was 3M tape which is notoriously known for being the worst material for film. Tape was very brittle and after it was scanned it basically fell apart and now will be unusable. Looks like they may have tried to save it in the early 2000s but didn’t fully attempt because there were notes in the box of how bad it was and they were scared to move forward. After scanning the elements they are unfortunately done for. Good news is we were able to pull the image and sound from everything and there is a good chance we can do 5.1 for the release. We were able to extract the raw image and even with the tape being extremely damaged we were able to work with it and create a pretty good transfer considering this was so cheaply produced and not taken care of through the years. We never thought this task would be challenging. Honestly, being SOV we could have used a release tape and called it a day but that’s not how Terror Vision operates.

The top one (Fatal Revenge) appears to have never been released on home video outside of Germany, and I can't find hide nor hair of the bottom one (Fatal Encounter). I happened to learn about them while searching for another movie with "Fatal" in the title, and have been on the lookout for them ever since.
