I don't know if this is up Terror Vision's alley but it would be great to see Super Dark Times (2017) get a physical release. The distribution wasn't great and feel like it's such an overlooked gem. One of my favorite films in the last 10 years.

If The American Astronaut ever became a possibility it would have to have an LP release too. I’d be more into that than even upgrading to BR.

Count me in in someone who would love to get The American Astronaut on bluray. Such a great unique film. It would also be great to have Stingray Sam included too, since it’s only an hour long. I really wish Cory Mcabee would have made more films.

Yes, we have a plan with some of our older titles but nothing definitive just yet. We will probably try and grow a little bit more and when we get noticed we will drop them. We have some titles that will really help get a voice for the label.

Would love to do it and we emailed the owners but never heard back. My fear is that Netflix bought our home video as they usually do so no one else can release it. It is a case by case basis with them - sometimes they do and sometimes they don’t.

Any chance for some of Alex Cox’s more obscure films such as The Winner, Searchers 2.0, Tombstone Rashomon or Bill, the Galactic Hero?

Cross posting since maybe Brad has some insight on the rights for this title?

I think it's the same people who have the rights to Rocktober Blood. Notoriously difficult to deal with from what I have read. They did some physical releases themselves that were rough. No restoration.

Yup, same people. Beverly & Ferd Sebastian. I remember hearing they scammed Kickstarter backers with a Blu-Ray release of Rocktober Blood that promised a new restoration but was just a VHS or DVD master upscaled.

Thanks for this thread reminding me of American Astronaut, my local library had a copy. Now it's expensive online...

I think Bio-Slime (2010) aka Contagion would be a fun title for Terror-Vision on Blu-ray. I saw it on Tubi and couldn't believe how fun it was all things considered. Now it's not on Tubi anymore and can't find it streaming.

Now that’s what I’m talking about. If things go well, I hope there’s plans for expansion into other markets, like say, Cleveland or a larger suburb like Mentor (wink wink).

We have 4 stores total at the moment. We hope things go well enough to open more!

I finished listening to the new podcast today. It was neat to hear Brad mention one of his first spots he rented movies was also a hot tub/spa store. I had a video store just like that in my hometown between 2000-'06/07 perhaps. Other than that my most frequented was the Hy-Vee grocery store where it had a little corner in the back where you'd rent tapes and they were all represented by little tags on the wall like baseball cards. Movie Gallery was another hot spot. Didn't have a Blockbuster around me so never got into that much.

Good times! My peak rental days were '97-'03. So around ages 8-14.
