The whole time I could feel every bass note and rumble go through my lungs...didn't realize I was inducing an earthquake for the people above.
Yeah, its funny that while I'm in the room with the sub everything just sounds and feels awesome, but it doesn't quite seem like I'm bringing down the building or anything. Yet, when I go into the back of my apartment it sounds like my bathroom is about to completely fall apart. Everything is just rattling like crazy.

This sub just sounds so good and tight its kind of easy to forget how much impact its actually producing as it blends in with my speakers so well, and how loud it is actually playing until I go into another room...or even outside of my apartment into the lobby. Since I got this sub I find myself smiling pretty regularly during certain scenes in movies. It was definitely worth the money.

Yeah, that's what drew me to it. I wanted a small package that could still kick ass and that exactly what I got!

Default Got a used Sunfire True Mark II for free

Yep, I can say I really likes this one. Powerful boom watched Avatar and it rattled everything. But, cause there is always one, since its an old model, something aint rights you sees. At loud scenes, there was an occational POP! from the woofer. I found ma' self lowering the volume everytime. The freq is at around 40hz and the phase is normal 90. The volume was at less than normal, then drop it about 1/8 each time. So, I thinks is abouts to die on me. I checked for bulging caps after hearing the hum. I found 2, but cant tell what they are as far as power in order to replace. The hum gets louder after being on for so long. I hates to use the cheater plug, but that wont even stop the 2700w beast from humming. It only stopped humming when I plugged it on a 20amp receptor, but a 15amp I guess will make it hum. Checked all the usual suspects, ground, cable company, etc. I plugged it in every 15amp receptor in the house and still hummed after about 5 minutes. So its either the caps or the 15amp thing. Anyway, thanks for reading my rant. Overall, like it much.

Is it true that the sunfire hrs-12 can rattle up a room ? I heard a lot of feedback how a badass this sub is,also at a reasonable price,so convincing how ived just read people how they were amazed at it it on the net that i cant stop thinking to get one and be freaked out also,as what they say(how intruiging and exciting)...so guys is it really that worth to purchase a sunfire hrs 12 and can blow you away?...any second choices for a fair budget?

I may not have heard this particular sunfire, but the other ones i've heard have sounded really good, including the junior one. They've always been a little out of my price range,or i would def. buy one.

All I can say is that I'm in old brick building and I've had neighbors complain about things on their walls vibrating and rattling around. I need to get a riser to try and minimize that, but yeah this sub definitely performs. Movies with real low frequencies have startled me on occasion to the point that I was grabbing the remote as fast as possible to turn it down so the neighbors don't come banging on the door. You can get a cheaper sub that will perform as well, but not in a package nearly as small. This little guy will give you big sub performance.

I have 2 Sunfire TS-EQ 10 in my HT ( a small living room 12' X 15' ) they work the best in tight area,I can't be more happier with them ( ok maybe I can be happier with 2 Sunfire TS-EQ 12 plus the 2 TS-EQ 10 ),I gave 1600 out the door new for 1 and gave 780 for a open box, I have read about the hum from the sunfire,I can't hear any hum when playing music or movies, So one day I put my ear up on the box and hear a very small hum,but 1 to 2 feet away I can't hear any hum,I think Sunfire TS-EQ 10 are the best in small. (they KICK ASS) BLUTRIG
