I'm glad both cuts are included on this blu ray.I was worried only the 4K release would have it on and just on the 4k disk.

Disappointed that there isn’t a 3D release for this one, though it would mostly be for completionist reasons since the conversion wasn’t great…

Yeah, would suck to be unable to complete the trilogy of home 3D BluRays. The first movie looked great in 3D, and the second movie was what it was... Hell, even that conversion of the First Spielberg movie looks surprisingly convincing in 3D!

And never say never, we finally got a 3D Spidey from the guys in Australia, and Jurassic Park is a pretty big name release too so...

Finally got to watch this last night! Looks good, not great, we have some blu rays that you'd be hard pressed to say if they're 4k or blu ray, was kind of hoping this was one of them, but sadly it's not. Still a fun movie, not great by any means, but it was fun seeing everyone in one movie together. Still have awesome memories of seeing the first one at a drive-in during a thunderstorm with weird interference coming through the radio! So it helps with the excitement of this one I think. Didn't buy it on 4k because we have the others on Blu ray and DVD and since the first one (the only one of the first three that we'd want on 4k) isn't a great transfer we just stuck with the blus.

Getting around to looking at picking up this release...

So the review is saying the special features (excluding the Big Rock short) are all in 480i? Ugh. I suppose because the movie is long, and they didn't want to put the special features on a second disc. Due to the length of the film, they really should have put all the special features on a second disc, and then they could have made them 1080p as well.

Looking into it a bit more, the special features are 1080p on the UHD. So they wasted valuable space on the Blu-ray that could have gone toward optimizing the encode and bitrate of the movie, when they should have put those special features on a second disc.

And no 3D Blu-ray.
