Getting "Mr. Go" was quite the journey. I had actually purchased it on two previous occasions only to be disappointed that the seller did not actually have it in inventory. I received it yesterday and previewed it a bit - very nice 3D. Looking forward to watching.

Time will tell on the 2nd purchase but it does look good 3D the little I reviewed. Edit: Probably a conversion from what I am reading - but maybe not a terrible one. Will take a longer look tonight.
Glad you got Mr. Go, i heard that title is a bit hard to found now because it's out of print, very good native 3D in Mr. Go from what i remembered, glad i did get this film in 3D way before it went out of print.

I need to revisit this film in 3D, it's been a long time since i last watched it in 3D.

Hi fingersdip,

You're really going to enjoy Mr Go. The 3D is quite good and it's a fun picture.

Know how it feels trying to track down a film that's oop.

Can't say enough about this hidden gem. Outstanding 3D, beautiful photography, wonderful music in DTS master Audio and, of course, a terrific story. Superb acting with English subtitles, some of which will appear behind objects protruding beyond the screen.

Would recommend it to anyone with an all region or region B player.
Glad you liked it. Measuring the World (German disc) is region free though, so go ahead and recommend it to everyone.

The UK and Italian versions look to be Region B.

Not sure about GER and I think there is an AUS version as well.
I have the Australian TT3D disc. It is region free.

Hi bleed,

My copy did not play in my region A player. Only region free. It's the German release.ftom 2013. If there's a newer one and all region, then explains why I got mine inexpensively.

I believe so, but am not 100% sure. I bought it from Amazon.uk and it played fine on my US spec Panasonic blu-ray player. It did not make me use my player that I can set to other regions.

It must be very beautiful in Norway!

I think this is one of those under-rated movies. Not sure why it didn't do better in the theater.

Just watched the documentary "Siberian Odyssey" (Odyssee durch Sibirien) regarding a winter sled expedition from Siberia through Moscow.

Gorgeous photography and very engrossing.

Knew it was a German release but was fooled by the item description: "Thanks to 3D even more impressive, even closer to the action, Siberia will be even colder!".

That was not the case. 3D was extremely mild so this has to be one of their auto converts.

So enjoyed the documentary but if one is thinking of buying it being a 3D enthusiast I would not recommend it. If I had read the reviews more thoroughly would not have bothered with it myself.
