The same front artwork as the US Slipcover release, does not look like there will be a slipcover at the moment.

Not a fan of the new artwork, very Alice in Wonderland-y.

Ed Wood is also finally getting a release, but only in a boxset featuring Nightmare before Christmas, Frankenweenie and Alice in Wonderland...because the demographic for those three other films totally match up with the constant swearing in Ed Wood.

That's a very crafty marketing ploy by Disney. They release three films that are already available in the UK, and bundle them with a highly desirable film that hasn't had a release here yet.

If they're getting into the box set game, how about a Wes Anderson collection!.

This release came too late for me, I already have the US import on it's way, I kept that order after the price lowered. The UK releases seem to arrive later on or may not, nothing is certain. I wonder if Home Alone remastered will be coming our way. I like this artwork, kind of cool the way Winona is making a heart shape and we can see various prominent images/scenery of the movie in the background.

That's true!... I have the US release myself, and I'm very happy with it. It's a bit unfair though that people who already own the other 3 titles have to either double-dip or import to get a copy of Ed Wood.

This is good news i was going to import the new edition from the states but now the Uk edition is coming out i can just sit back and wait for this to be £9.99 *Hopefully* when it comes out in November.

Its shame about Ed wood its possibly Burtons best film and i really do not want to own the golden turkey that is Alice In Wonderland on Blu Ray. Looks like i'll still import the US edition whenever i get the urge to watch it again.

I like the artwork too, except it seems obvious that the image of Edward and her are a composite from two different images. Although if someone can correct me and show that they did that pose together I'd be interested to know.

Not necessarily, as it just depends how many of his other films you already have:

Does that boxset contain 4 separate cases of the films? If so i may buy it for Ed Wood and sell the others.

I've just received my copy from Amazon, and I can confirm that it's definitely the new 4K remaster.

...and I must say it's a beautiful looking transfer!.

Finally picked this up yesterday. Skimmed through the disc out of curiosity and I was really impressed with the PQ. It looked better than I had anticipated (from the 4/5 score on this site). Should be fun to properly watch.

Yeah, it's too sad for me to enjoy now.

I don't like films that leave me upset.
