So they'll make a near jewel-case/CD sized Steelbook with a proper spine but the actual CD Steelbooks still have that garbage "cookie-tin" hinge?

I thought it was bad enough going to the game store and buying a game and there only being a slip in there to download it. Now we collectors edition a digital item. SMH.

I agree but I bet they will put it or variation of it availible to the public. Like it a lot better than my John wick 1 and 2 steelbook

I hope this stuff doesen't catch on. The idea of a steelbook for a digital code is just disgusting to think about. Thank god its free.

Unless the digital version is an SSD with ultra high bit rate,

then not interested; but that steelbook... the art is quite lovely and I like the form factor.

I really love the artwork, and I am cool with unique sized steels (I love the ones for Nintendo Switch).

I am heading to SDCC and I'm going to try and get one of these - unfortunately, it will probably be hard as @$%# to get because people will fight for any scraps they can get.
