Not sure if this is my most valuable one but I was looking thru a box of old Hulk comics that I bought years ago on Ebay for cheap (small box for like $20) and lo and behold...1st appearance of Rocket Raccoon!

If there's anything ur looking for in trade, lemme know! If you like Hulk, I've got 3 copies of #182 (3rd app of Wolverine)...all 8.5 or higher.

What the heck, I'll bring a thread back from the dead...

I'm a big thor guy, and unfortunately, I don't have any of the real nice Journey into Mystery stuff... I have a pretty low grade JIM 102 (first appearance of Sif) but other than that, maybe Thor 337 (Beta Ray Bill).

on the DC side, I don't know... maybe my Batman 612?

So, nothing of real value.

About 20+ years ago I picked up a set of Silver Surfer #1-4 as well as an amazing copy of Fantastic Four #48, the first appearance of Galactus and Silver Surfer. I ended up reselling them and making a nice profit but looking back, with the addition of CGC over the years, I could have probably made a lot more having them graded as they were in superb condition.

But valuable could also mean what comics do you have that mean the most to a person. I'd say my set of Dark Knight Returns #1-4 all signed by Frank Miller who is a very rare signer, as well a complete run of Amazing Spider-Man #298-328 all signed by Todd McFarlane and some others spread throughout my boxes of comics.

I own both Moon Knight's second and first appearance in great condition. ALso have Black Cat's first appearance, and a Hack/Slash #1 signed by Tim Seeley.

I don't really have any comics that are worth much so it's more of a personal value thing.

Green Lantern 50th Anniversary Issue because it's autographed by Mart Nodell, creator of Green Lantern.

The Uncanny X-Men #149 & #150 because they're X-Men and the oldest comics I have (even though they're only early 80's).

Big Trouble in Little China #1 with a limited variant cover by Tyler Stout, BTiLC is my favorite film of all time so I'm eating up the new comics and this had some wicked cool custom art.

And finally, Lobsterman #1, Maine's first superhero! Because, well, I'm from Maine and it was a locally produced comic back in the early 90's.

I had the first 75 issues of the Walking Dead, but I sold them because I needed some cash last year.

I would say Batman: Harley Quinn (one-shot), with the first appearance of Harley Quinn in the main DC universe (pre-New 52):

My collection is in constant flux so my "most valuable" tends to change because if something spikes, I'll usually sell it off on ebay. lol

In the past year I've sold off two New Mutants 98's....just sold my Alias #1 (bought that off the shelf for $2 and sold it for $100!), also sold my Amazing Spider-Man #300 among others.

I still have things like the original B&W 3 issue Comico GRENDEL series, Caliber Presents #1 (first appearance of The Crow), Batman #357 (first Killer Croc & Jason Todd) etc.

To me it is a little funny...while I like that it has both their debuts, to me as a fan of comics Jason Todd is the more important of the two. But, with Suicide Squad's movie coming out, apparently this is more key for flippin' Killer Croc now!

I really don't have too many comics, but I think my superman vs predator 4 issue is worth the most in my collection.

Sadly, I think mine is Batman Adventures 12 (first Harley) by default. If not that it's my Venom #1 black error edition, I found both in fifty-cent bins ten years ago when literally nobody wanted them.

Nothing wrong with those! I don't own a single Harley book and wish that I could go back in time and grab them...don't know what the hell I was thinking, always passing them by. Same thing with Walking Dead. Never picked up an issue despite having the opportunity of having early, single digit issues.

I think everybody feels that way but you shouldn't beat yourself up, there was literally no way of knowing. I vaguely recall Walking Dead showing up on the racks when it debuted but it was never a series I would've considered buying in single issues anyway, so we can't regret it in hindsight just because it ended up being worth 1K years later.

I agree, I am in the same boat, still remembering the day Walking Dead #1 came out, I flipped through it and liked the artwork but then the owner said it was a mini-series and at the time I really wasn't into mini's so I put it back and forgot about it until it then was the next big thing, and by that time I didn't want to think about searching for it. Mistakes happen, I just wish I hadn't made "that" mistake years ago.
