Scorpion Releasing has dated and detailed its upcoming Blu-ray release of Charles B. Pierce' film The Norseman (1978), starring Lee Majors, Cornel Wilde, Mel Ferrer, Jack Elam, and Christopher Connelly. The release, which will be distributed by Kino Lorber, will be available for purchase on February 2, 2021

Synopsis
After his father, King Eurich (Mel Ferrer), goes missing on an expedition, Viking prince Thorvald (Lee Majors) launches a journey to find him. Accompanied by his loyal friend, Ragnar (Cornel Wilde), and the eccentric mystic Death Dreamer (Jack Elam), Thorvald sails to a faraway land where he discovers that a local tribe has captured the king and his men. Thorvald and his crew attempt to free their kinsmen, aided by a beautiful native woman named Winnetta (Susie Coelho).
