Seeing Circuit City Exclusives makes me feel sad. They really tried their best. Unfortunately, their stores never felt as welcoming as their competitors'.

Yeah, they did indeed tried their best but the competitor's were too strong for them to survive. Their customer services wasn't that great but they did have some unique exclusives.

I'm really interested to see what this exclusive will have. I've already got the Amazon Exclusive preordered, and I'm thinking about getting this one as well.

Funimation says the box will be the size of a vinyl album.

I guess it'll look like the Lawrence of Arabia box set.

Added section for Time Life. They have two exclusives for Motown 25, though both are DVDs and not BDs.

Man I just saw this thread. I don't even know how it escaped me but then again most things do.
It saddens me to see the Borders stuff listed. I'm still after that first Twilight one. I have the New Moon one.

Yeah, Al and I had the same feeling about Circuit City. I actually used to shop there more than Best Buy.

I wasn't into blu at that time as I was still picking up HD DVD's haha. But I remember shopping at them when I was in to DVD's and games back in the day 2000's. I remember getting cd's on release day all the time.
I was pretty bummed out when they closed as well as I got a lot of Xbox 360 games with them.

Oh, man, HD DVDs. I bought my HD DVD player from them and got five free movies.

I was watching Troy last night and realized that Warner released both the theatrical and extended versions on HD DVD. We will probably never get the theatrical version on BD.

Probably not. And yeah I have a decent amount of HD DVD's. I remember importing Resident Evil and Tomb Raider from Germany I believe because they weren't out on blu ray at the time haha.
