Though I shouldn't be surprized considering this is Universal. They are notorious for not keeping packaging uniform...

The Fast and Furious steelbooks would prove otherwise.

those are best buy exclusive.
look at the non exclusive ones.
no uniformity.
look at the regular releases as well. Every time a new movie came out, it didn't match the previous ones.

Do any studios keep uniformity between releases? Because I can't think of any that do.

Target Exclusive appears to be a slipbox, with the amaray case and booklet stacked together. Spine thickness is slightly bigger than a regular slip, lesser than the recent Disney ones like Thor: Ragnarok and Coco.

Looks like I could use it as a slipbox for the BB Steelbook.

That's just like the Target exclusive for Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation. It's nice but a bit boring. The book looks like it's a hardcover.

It would be nice if the slipcase were something like a chipboard box holder but I know that'll never happen, cheap cardboard I'm sure.

I thought this was a 4K disc?

I pre ordered it because of that, and its price $45+ should reflect a 4K correct?

photos above show no 4K,

Not sure where you are paying $45. Target has two listings of their exclusive. One for the 4K and one for the bluray.

Canadian Shopper, EXCHANGE RATE.

Thanks for confirming there is a 4K, and those photos are only the regular BD release.
