I tried playing this today and have numerous playback issues. Sometimes disc isnt recognized or freazes or stops picture or stops audio. For a moment there was sound and no picture and then later the was picture and no audio or just choppy playback.

What player and have you tried it in a different brand player?

have you tried wiping it down with a microfiber cloth or maybe even better if that doesn't work, gently washing it with something like Ivory liquid hand dishwashing detergent?

is this the first time you've tried it? if so and if the above doesn't help then perhaps it's a badly pressed disc
