IĎll be starting up Future Connected tomorrow.
that certainly is an unpopular opinion. I like XC2 too also though I feel the story & characters are better in the first game.

I checked in with a buddy of mine who was playing through this for the first time too and he agreed that he is leaning towards 2 being better...so that makes two of lunatics now . It's not a massive gap between the two by any means but the story of 2 just resonated with me more for some reason. If only Adam Howden was the voice actor for Rex instead of the guy they did pick.

I liked the voice of Rex, thought it fit the character pretty good.

I donít disagree with that but he struggled heavily with the more demanding/emotional scenes. His ďjoiiiiin meĒ in Chapter 7 or 8 is the one that sticks out in my memory as terrible. Meanwhile I thought Howden had a great performance for those types of moments. Granted, it could come down to bad direction possibly but Iím not sure what else the actor has done off hand to compare.

Got Xenoblade 2 & Linkís Awakening in the Mail today.

My 3+ year absence from Nintendo Switch is now complete.

I just jumped back into this game.
Took a break before Prison Island. I just left Sword Valley. Now I'm on another break. Need to remodel a room.

After playing a few hours of Xenoblade 2, I went back to the first game because I was starting to get hooked on 2 & I need to play these games in order because OCD.

So far clocked in around 11 hours in 2 days.

Time disappears quickly in this immersive game. Looks like itíll keep me busy & the sequel well beyond PS5ís launch.

Glad youíre enjoying it. The more people who discover and love this gem of a series the better!

I finished replaying the Torna prequel this weekend and have jumped back into XC2 for a NG+ run now.

Is there a NG+ mode for both games or just Xenoblade 2?

Thanks!

Yeah Iím looking at putting in around 5-6 hours a day. Iíve played enough now to know this is a gem of a game.

XenoBlade DE has a new game plus mode.
Ever since the 3DS.
Not sure if it was on the Wii version.

FYI this is $10 on clearance at many Walmarts right now. It was unmarked at my store but range up for $10. I saw it on slickdeals.
