After several attempts/fails since I placed my first pre-order Aug.28th
....One of my January re-orders for Solo finally made it to my mailbox today. (in Canada)

Not sure if my backup order will also arrive or not.
If it does I will likely sell or trade it for something else.

Placed an order when Solo first went on sale. Never came. Multiple messages, was told I’d receive refund. Never got one. Then requested replacement when restock happened. Then nothing. More messages. Finally, a Steelbook in the mailbox today. What a pain trying to get this one.

I was starting to get worried, but replacement Solo finally arrived today, almost a month from when it was shipped. This Solo shipping saga has finally ended.

Hello! I posted this question in the general Zavvi thread, but figured those in here might be able to chime in as well given how many here have asked Zavvi for Replacement copies.

I just have a question about those who have previously had Zavvi send you a "Replacement" copy of an item such as a steelbook.

Did this Replacement copy show up immediately as a new order under your Orders on your Zavvi account, or is it entirely internal on Zavvi's end and you can't see it?

I ask because I am receiving a Replacement item for the first time and so far I do not see anything under my account Orders.

I was told I'd be getting a confirmation email when it ships which I haven't received yet about 2 days later and wanted to ask anyone with prior experience.

I plan to give it a couple more days before I begin to worry, but it doesn't hurt to check with those here.

It's entirely internal on Zavvi's end from my experience. Similar to how the ESB Steel replacements happened. They didn't put in an order history for that.

P.S. I didn't get a shipment email for a lot of the SW-series steels, but I did for the Iron Man Mondo a couple days ago. I'm not sure I ever saw any explanation as to why those emails didn't go out

Lastly, do they ship replacements using DHL Express or standard shipping (white mailers)? I recall reading something about users receiving replacements very quickly through DHL, but I could be mistaken.

It should mirror your original order experience. I would assume ship out normal standard shipping with the regular white box...

I don't think they ever offer tracking on anything??

So was it ever discovered how most of these steelbooks went missing?

Did Zavvi oversell without being able to meet demand?
Did some disgruntled postal workers steal them?

Just looking for a summary here really.
