Interesting. Theres a post stating it's available on Amazon Italy but it doesn't show or state anything that it's a 3D BLU-RAY.

Is this released now?

Yep this finally turned up today, not watched yet but had a quick flick through it, I can confirm it has english 5.1 digital audio along with the Chinese sounds tracks. And is Real 3D it does however does have the black bar syndrome at the top and bottom.

The 3D looks pretty good viewing the first 5 mins of the flying scenes look very nice indeed.

This was also shown on Sky a couple of months back now in 3D so has been expected for some time.

Default "Battle For Terra" Blu-ray 3D is All Regions (German release)

Just picked up the "Battle For Terra" Blu-ray 3D - released by Sony in Germany and it is Region ABC. I was a bit surprised because they also released "Scar" in Germany and that one was Region B locked.

Here is the Blu-ray.com link:
https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Terra-Blu-ray/21093/

Anyway - thought this would be good news to a few folks here.

I haven't heard anything. It was released by Lionsgate in the USA and by Sony overseas - so if I had to guess, Sony made it all regions because LG had no intention of releasing it in 3D the USA.

Could be wrong though... It does have a reversible cover so you don't have to look at the massive, godawful ratings logo - which is a nice touch.

If you have an amazon.com account, you can sign in with that. The steps to ordering are identical, so it's not too hard to figure out.

Except that you'll get a heart attack if you see the shipping costs.

My kids and I saw this movie in 2D and thought it was just so-so. I don't think the 3D will really add much. May be worth picking up cheap, but for $50, I say think long and hard.
