All plans, including the cheapest one, got a price increase of $2/month.

I stopped using them late last year. Wait times for almost anything 4K was (and probably still is) atrocious and when it was mailed out it took almost a week to get it. Never could get my 5 per month. Sometimes I could never get 2 per month. I just buy what I want now.

Latest wait time for me is about 30 days (which is way outside of their "guarantee"). But I do keep track of them and get my 2 disks / month.

It's even more dramatic for me. I was paying $12.99/month for the 5 disc sub from joining during a holiday sale. Now it's going up to $17.99/month and I'm in the same boat. Practically impossible to get all five discs in the same month. I can place an order on a Monday and it won't arrive until the following Monday, Saturday if I'm lucky.

Probably going to try the 8.99/month for 2 discs a month and use it for just the more expensive titles (Criterion, etc.). Not worth it if you're just renting the $3.99 titles.

Still kind of a ripoff. Does anyone know of a better option for blu-ray rentals?

I'm impatient. Since I don't go to the theater, I just buy 1080p and 2160p blu and sell the digi copies for $6.

I used to do the same, until eBay gently told me not to.

Those guys suck. If they can't get your discs to you in the same month, you still pay for them. F them.

Not at the moment. Which I find odd.

There's a buy/sell/trade subforum for digital copies right here on Blu-ray.com complete with trader rating system.

Yes the wait time can be long for in demand titles, however, whenever I have emailed them about my order they have been very courteous and have made sure I received the two titles a month I pay for. I am thankful that they are the only place in America where you can rent 4k discs by mail.

Where is this trade forum? I went to the homepage (blu-ray.com) but couldn't find it.

Yeah, buy them from resale shops, watch em, then resell them for what you paid or knock off $2-3 bucks and sell it for cheaper. Maybe get a group of friends that rent and just buy a film, split the difference and have a drawing for who gets to keep it afterwards.
