Encanto is pure #Disney magic! The voice acting is amazing across the board with Stephanie Beatriz bringing hilarity and heart to her performance. The animation is gorgeous, the story is brilliant, and the music is absolutely phenomenal!

Encanto's visuals are breathtaking. It's always a fun time with Lin-Manuel Miranda behind the songs, but it isn't as catchy as his previous works. As for the film's story? It's lacking that dramatic punch. There was someone in my theater sobbing loudly, so there's that.

Disney’s Encanto is just lovely. It’s full of so much energy and fun. I’m not always a musical fan, but Luisa’s song has been in my head since the screening. It’s the perfect family film. Also, cute animated rats are always a happy thing for me.

Encanto is super cute! Stephanie Beatriz, Diane Guerrero and Jessica Darrow shine. I loved the music, the songs are so fun and lively. It’s got a beautiful message about self worth, and it was refreshing to see some Afro-Latinx characters not just in the background, but as part of the main cast, hopefully paving the way for better representation going forward.

Encanto enchants w/ its beautiful Colombian cultural specificities, colorful visuals, and emotionally resonating themes of family. 60 films in, Disney still finds ways to captivate its audience with their animated musicals. This one is a real tearjerker but also such a joy!

Encanto may be one of the best films I’ve seen all year. I was genuinely touched throughout, and couldn’t stop myself from dancing in my seat. From pitch perfect performances to gorgeous animation to storylines that really hit home, this movie is set to be a classic!

Encanto is a visual and musical feast for the eyes & ears. A joyous animated celebration of Colombian culture & family. Lin-Manuel’s music continues to impress and is very likely be recognized for Best Original Song. Loved all the characters especially Mirabel and Bruno.

Lastly, kudos to Byron Howard Jared Bush & Charise Castro Smith for telling a story that not embraces and celebrates culture, but does so in a way that is relatable to everyone including children of all ages. This film conveys the kind of Disney magic that I want to see more of.

Encanto is magnificent! Afro-Latinos present, our culture alive, a story of ours told. Relates to anyone fighting to live up to expectations. Wept like a baby. The 60th Disney feature is one of their best. Loved it to bits.

Encanto deals with some complex issues regarding family expectations. Definitely have to simmer on it (similar to how I felt after INSIDE OUT). Songs are good. Visuals are on par with the beauty of RAYA AND THE LAST DRAGON.

The songs are redundant and gratuitous, but otherwise Disney's #Encanto is very good. A visual marvel that diversifies in terms of representation *and* storytelling. A surprisingly compelling supernatural mystery with a grounded emotional impact that pays off in spades.

Fareb, I haven't discussed Encanto because I cut cable last year and haven't seen any marketing for it, not even a trailer. That will change the closer we get to the wide release. The press screenings were this week.

I wished carlos vives or any colombian musicians, of which there are plenty and very talented, had composed the music instead of Miranda because in disney movies, particularly in this, music can make or break a movie, and you need pure colombian music, which is quite diverse, mixed and complex. Hard for a foreigner to pick all the influences, styles and trends, but i will keep my mind open.

I always enjoy taking the family to see a Disney animated film during the Thanksgiving break. Gets me in the holiday spirit

Different demographic. Hawkeye and Boba Fett are more aimed towards teenagers/adult audiences, whilst stuff like this is more aimed at families.

I think this looks delightful, and I can't wait to see it. Think I'm gonna go in blind, not listen to any of the songs or anything beforehand. Interesting that, at least from the trailers I've seen, they're not really marketing it as a musical just yet.
