Swamp Thing is one of the greatest characters in human history. The 2019 series is amazing and compelling, but they messed with the production costs and the legal permissions and the series has been truncated at Episode 10 (which provides us with an excellent ending anyway).
The series mixes horror, drama and action in a brilliant way. Masterpiece.

Well, let's rank! This is mine:

1- Swamp Thing (2019)
2- Swamp Thing (1982) - Wes Craven did a superb job.
3- Swamp Thing (1990-1993) - Great series, very mature.
4- The Return of Swamp Thing (1989) - Still, an excellent b-movie, I love it.

I never seen any of the Swamp Things. I've seen Man-Thing, though. Which is Marvel's answer to Swamp Thing.

Man-Thing was launched one month before. Said that, the 2005 film is good.

Man-Thing was a bit weird for me at that time. Like, it was a Marvel movie, yet horror. Sure Marvel explores horror elements into their other movies, but Man-Thing was straight up horror.

You're right. I liked it. Too bad they showed Ted/Man-Thing only in few scenes.
