In/Spectre this had my favorite first episode of the new season so far, really well done and the dialogue was Monogatari or Bunnygirl Senpai level good, Kotoko (the girl MC) was great. Very creepy show dealing with yokai and the supernatural, not what I was expecting at all. Plus there is a romance with the two MCs, a lot to explain but don't want to spoil anything so give it a watch. Good stuff. It's by Brain's Base so you know their track record (Durarara, Baccano, My Little Monster, My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU, Penguindrum, etc.)

I started watching Pokemon Diamond and Pearl (Season 10) last night. I've been buying all of the DVD sets as they release but haven't gotten past Advanced and figured it was time to change that. I was thinking back and the last time I fully viewed a set was the first week of January 2017, has me wondering where the time has gone. I watched the Advanced seasons as they aired on Cartoon Network before and after school around 2005-2007, so I can excuse myself for skipping them for the time being. Diamond and Pearl seasons I have never fully seen, that's why I'm skipping ahead.

If I can at least get through season 10 and 11 before 12 comes out then I will be happy. I've got a feeling that I'll end up watching something else though, I know how I am.

Yeah this viewing was already scrapped, like I predicted. I started rewatching Bleach on Blu-ray from the first episode instead of Pokemon. Because why not rewatch something that I've seen a hundred times, rather than the ever growing list of releases that I haven't touched since buying.

Up to episode 13 of GATE, had to switch to ConTV due to the sound going out on Tubi.
Still pretty fun.

Further into Neo Range. Finished eps 31- 40 over the weekend. I have eight more to go. Wish I had more time so I could finish it but its Oscar season which means the husband and I try to watch all the best picture nominees we missed. Will have to wait for Sat to finish as I'm off work and he isn't.

Yeah, you never know who is a guy/girl online unless they tell you.
Just in case, I am a guy.

I'm nearing the end of Season 2 of Date A Live over here.

I tried to catch up on Babylon on Amazon Prime last night, but when I started episode 9 the subtitles were in German and I didn't have any other language options. Episode 8 was still in English. I figured out later on that I could choose from multiple languages when I used the web player (I was on my LG TV before), but by then I'd remembered the new episode of Chihayafuru was out and wanted to watch it instead.

Lol. Yep I'm a woman. I actually got my username from Gundam SEED Destiny. Horrible sequel, however, love the character designs especially Lunamaria.
Due to my anime tastes and likes, many people think I'm a guy. My husband even questions my tastes on my shelf at many times.

On a side notes. Got two more episodes of Neo Ranga under my belt this week. Six more episodes to go. It's getting weirder but also coming together. Hoping to get some time to finish it tomorrow.

Though it's live action, it's based on an anime/manga.
This was a live action version of Moribito that I found on Tubi.
Not sure if it was meant to be a series and got cancelled, or if Tubi Just has the first episode.
So about the time Balsa was fending off the 4 swordsmen, it just ends.

No clue if they dubbed it or not (it was subtitled), but it would be cool if they used the English dub voices from the anime to do so.

Just started Divergence Eve and oh boy that first episode is one of the worst I've seen in anime history. The CGI is horrendous even for it's time. However I do like the character designs. Hoping to get further into it this week if time permits.

Stick with it Lunamaria87, yeah the "3D CGI" does kind of standout, but the rest of the Anime makes up for it

I'm a big Fan of Divergence Eve and the Misaki Chronicles so my opinion is a bias one

^^BWBODDY I will definitely stick with it and see where it goes. I blind bought both series years ago. I'm definitely interested in seeing how it improves. Plus you cant judge a show just by the pilot episode is how I see it. Looking forward to watching more this week.

Awesome to hear luna
I'll tell you this Misaki Chronicles is a different from, but still a similar-ish adventure than Divergence Eve is,
but just as good if not better

Well I did read up about that Live Action Moribito, I guess there are 3 seasons, and it goes beyond where the anime ends.

Anyhow, I tried Girlish Number but wasn't feeling it, so then I tried Wonder Momo and that looks fun.

Dorohedoro man this thing is trippy and also really hard to follow, it is very unique though I'll give it that. You've never seen anything else like this.
First off the characters are cg but they look 2D except the MC Caiman who has a lizard head. It's not horrible like Berserk but still kind of distracting.
I've never read the manga so just going by what I could glean from the first 2 episodes it's about the afforementioned Caiman and his friend a blonde girl named Nikaido who runs a restaurant and they go around killing "wizards" who pop into their world from another world using magic "doors". Apparently the wizards come over and experiment on the people in this world (it and the character designs remind me of the setting of Akira) and one turned Caiman's head into a lizard head so he's trying to find the wizard to change it back and apparently as a side affect magic no longer works on him.
It's very brutal with lots of murder and gore as the wizards also apparently fight each other too and wear some really freaky masks.(seems like Tokyo Ghoul sort of ripped them off)
Still deciding what to make of this show as it's kind of hard to follow as they just plop you into this world and their is very little exposition so you just learn as you go, but if you like blood and guts and weird characters and shit this is for you. Really reminds me of 80's anime more than anything.
