I don't know that there's any interest here but, just in case, GCW champion Jon Moxley defends his title against Nick Gage this weekend. The show will be available on FITE.

Also, did JR referr to MJF as an arse? Not ass, but arse. Kinda odd using the UK version.

Adam Page coming back is great. Now just get the title off Kenny, doesn't matter if its Adam Page or Bryan Danielson winning it
You talking about the one Pac took off the top of the ladder? That match had some major bumps, i will say it seems aew is far more lax on in ring safety or maybe they are just selling it better, but man some of the shots these guys take are rough looking compared to WWE.

So, adults have made up names to make fun of and bully people just because they like something. Absolutely pathetic.

Started watching AEW about a year ago and haven’t gone back to WWE programming other than to check in to see some of the women (Becky, Sasha, Bayley) and the old NXT (mainly to see Adam Cole when he was there).

I just don’t understand WWE programming. I feel like it’s so dumbed down to appeal to the lowest common denominator or the casual fan.

AEW is amazing. Excited for the future.

The first match..the elite giving the powerbomb to the dinosaur having barely lifted him up and Kenny Omega just kind of fell back. It looked crap

Who are you referring to? The poster you quoted or the article?

--

I've not read the article but its pretty safe to say AEW is competition at this point considering the roll they are on, and if people are indeed upset/triggered by that, then that is pretty sad

Yes I am talking to that poster. Specifically the use of the terms E-Drones and Vincels. I had to look those up on Google to see what they were. Truly sad that "adults" would use those terms.

As far as AEW goes, I like it but, I don't think they've "changed the wrestling world" like they claim they have. Right now is their time to shine. They're on a roll but it's not real. CM Punk, and to a lesser degree Adam Cole, Bryan Danielson and Ruby Soho are the reason they have so many viewers right now. It's the curiosity seekers. Now they have to keep them. I've said that before. Last week was their 2nd Anniversary show and viewership dropped. CM Punk came out and pumped up the crowd and said he came to fight and then didn't. He arranged a fight for Rampage. That's suggests to me that Rampage isn't doing as well as they want. I don't honestly know. Rampage is only online in Canada so I don't typically watch it. They've got the talent to be great.

tbh whenever i do read comments about wrestling at other places i stop reading when some get into that territorial bs. especially when you're trying to have a civil conversation & nutters wanna butt in like you're supposed to only like a certain/one organization. dont enjoy more than one lol

I watch weekly shows from ROH, NXT, WWE and AEW. I also have a subscription to Independent Wrestling TV. There is a lot of great stuff on there. Tonight Jon Moxley defends his GCW title against Nick Gage in what could be the independent wrestling match of the year and I'll be watching that for sure.

I also believe that there's a tag match for one of the shows this Friday or Saturday night it has Danielson teaming with Suzuki against Fish and Lee Moriarty.

I’m going to the Dynamite show this Saturday. They have Danielson against Fish advertised, but a change to a tag match is possible, I suppose.

Punk’s match is set for Rampage on Friday, which is really what I wanted to see when I bought tickets for the Dynamite show. Doubt they’ll have Punk wrestle two nights straight. AEW seems to have pulled a clever bait-and-switch when tickets went on sale, confirming Punk for Dynamite but not Rampage. And now it looks like he may still be there both nights, but wrestling on the show he wasn’t supposed to be on in the first place lol. Just my luck. I do have Friday off from work, so maybe I’ll change my mind and buy tickets for that event too. All the advertised matches look solid.

no don't think that's happening cause on the buy in this friday its Moriarty vs Fish and Danielson vs Suzuki there hasn't been a tag team match mentioned on any of the socials.

I like what AEW is doing but i don't see that happening, at least not in tv ratings as i believe they are still a good half million viewers or more from matching them.
