A little slower than I'd like but I did end up getting everything I personally ordered at least.
I received Blu-ray replacements for the DVDs they accidentally sent. Still have a couple of $5 items on backorder however.

Anyone know if UV ever has drops in price for preorders? Or is the price they advertise THE price, no drops before the movie ships?

They've already raised the price on Roma to $29.99 for the Blu-Ray, $22.79 for the DVD. Presumably on February 11th, it'll jump to $49.98 and $37.98, respectively (but perhaps with an additional 10% discount).

Yeah, they whiffed on the first price. Not sure how 40% off equaled 26.99. $29.99 is the correct price. Still not bad for a new release. Hope they are able to do it for future releases.

I'm guessing they initially priced Roma the same as all the other single-disc Criterion releases right now: $45 (marked down 10% from their "recommended" price of $50). If you take 40% off $45, you get $27.

But yeah, I do appreciate that $30 price-point for a new Criterion release. I can't justify paying "full" price for Criterion stuff!

Two weeks left on the 15% off code. I was thinking of using it for the Elvira: Mistress of the Dark preorder, but last I checked Amazon had it for a wee bit cheaper. Undecided on most everything else.

Just out of curiousity, what are people planning on buying with that 15% off? Just to give me some ideas.

Zip. Really, nadda. Their everyday prices of $44 - 15% don't come anywhere close to "deal" territory for me.

I was going to pre-purchase Sixteen Candles (Arrow) from them, until I saw Amazon had it for $34, which even less than UV's "deal". You'd think the same company supplying Amazon with product would at least price match on their own website...

I've been trying to find a good deal with this 15% coupon, but really, when everything is premium-priced to begin with and then factoring in shipping, they'll be getting nothing from this fellow.

Sorry to rant, but I felt like this was the perfect time to point out the oddity of this 15% coupon.

Yup. Nearly every regularly-priced item on their site that I want is still overly expensive, even with the 15% off. I suppose Iíll likely let the coupon go and wait for more flash sales from them.
