**NEW UPCOMING RELEASE ANNOUNCEMENT ***

Happy Friday the 13th everyone! We have a busy one today (Halloween Complete Collection box set art reveal at 10:31AM PDT, Night of the Demons Screening Live at 7PM PDT) but we also wanted to kick off the day right with a big title reveal. So here it is…

The Last Man on Earth

The Comedy of Terrors

Dr. Phibes Rises Again

The Tomb of Ligeia

The Raven

Return of the Fly

So, then Volume 3 could maybe be...

Madhouse
Theatre of Blood
Scream and Scream Again
Tales of Terror
Twice Told Tales
The Oblong Box
Diary of a Madman
Tower of London
The Bat
The Fly

I'd take off The Fly, as Fox already released that relatively competently.

I'd add House of the Long Shadows and From a Whisper to a Scream.

Lol. Never saw that one. Phibes goes to Texas to become a rodeo clown.

One of the many sequels that never happened, unfortunately. I hear the script was great.

I think that's a mistake, it should be The Return Of The Fly.

I'll be so happy to have The Last Man on Earth on Blu-ray at long last.

This reminds me that I should get around to ordering the first Vincent Price set at some point.

I'm loving the contents for this Price set - three B & W films, including two unexpected PD titles, one of which, House on Haunted Hill, is easily Castle's finest, plus three Poe movies, including one of the very best, Tomb of Ligeia. Although a couple of inclusions, Comedy of Terrors and Dr. Phibes Rises Again, are rendered redundant by the Arrow editions, we do get seven films instead of six this time around. Plus, Last Man on Earth is one of my favorite Price films, so its inclusion is most welcome. I guess this means a release of Tales of Terror is extremely unlikely. I would rather it than Comedy of Terrors, due to Arrow releasing the latter, but at least I have an MGMHD broadcast of Tales.

Unfortunately, Phibes was not a successful rodeo clown. He didn't like it when the audience laughed at his performances. Soon random cowboys were found murdered by what appeared to be methods inspired by the film Blazing Saddles. The "death by beans" victim was particularly gruesome.

OK, beaten that horse to death. Time to go celebrate in anticipation of another great set of VP movies. The Phibes movies were childhood staples of mine. Hope we also see Theater of Blood soon.
