Nice Looking display. Would you happen to know the name of that Terget shelf? I'm looking for a new myself.

Default My SteelBook Display

Hello all, I have a wonderful 4K set up. Then I found out about steelbooks!!!
Once I saw one, I was hooked. Trying to find 4K movies in a steelbook case can be a challenge. So sometimes I'll have to but the movie I want in 4K and then Blu-Ray in steelbook. So I have a few doubles of movies.

But I wanted to show you my display wall for my steelbooks. When you put them in a shelf along with other regular DVD's, you can scratch the case, then this is why I did this, what do you think???

Default SteelBook collection and display.

Nice collection of SB's (fcnchuck).
I too was sliding them next to each other but I was worried about scratches.
So I built this wall display to keep them in perfect shape and so you can see the art.
If you cover them up by stacking them side by side, you can't see what your paying for.
My overflow of SB's that won't fit on the wall, I'm trying to figure out more wall space. For now, I switch them out so the wall is constantly changing

So that's why I did this? Hopefully the images show up ok. I can't seem to display the pictures without having to click to see them. Does anyone know or can tell me how to attach pictures that will be open inside the thread, that way you don't have to click each one?

I made a video showcasing my collection set up. Showcasing how my movies are displayed as well as some sweet steelbooks. This is the first video ive ever done, hopefully you enjoy it! I will be doing another video showing my small but growing steelbook collection (at around 150 now) if all goes well.

All true bud. perhaps we need to make a thread for collections. now not certain if the mods could approve or if we need one considering the fact that we've the haul thread. i'll must ask around and test the waters.

So if you do not mind me asking. How did you pass approximately getting some of the ones? Did you get them once they first got here out or are they recent pickups?

I haven't been collecting blus very long period, steelbook even less. I have double dipped on a lot of these so these are only steels/collectables I plan to sit on for a while. Moving my collection across the house so this is the first time I've seen them all together since I bought them.

I started collecting steelbooks pretty late. But after buying my first one I was hooked and now I can't stop! lol
Anyways right now I'm focusing on the Marvel Cinematic universe, since I started late I'm missing Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Captain America: First Avenger(Recent Purchase), Thor, Thor 2, The Incredible Hulk, Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol.1, Doctor Strange, Ant-Man 1, Spider-Man Homecoming(Recent Purchase).

Just recently bought Captain America: First Avenger 3D Kimchidvd and Spider-Man Homecoming 3D Filmarena steelbooks. So I get to check those off the list.
Great prices, both brand new. $70 for Cap and $45 for Spidey.
Gonna be costy getting the rest but there's no stopping now. haha

I quit collecting years ago but felt like re-organizing the shelf when I received Synapse's The Living Dead At Manchester Morgue. I ordered some new stands that work really well and allow me display 6 instead of 5. While I have a number of nice releases and I certainly like the way it looks, I am strongly considering selling them all and giving up on steelbooks entirely. I suppose I just don't get that "wow" factor from them anymore.

Still, they're nice to look at, for sure.
