I know this is not slip related. But I was looking at blu ray release dates. I noticed Jingle All the Way is being released as a blu-ray/dvd combo pack.

I know most people dont like when they re-release a movie and all they do is add a dvd. But for me, I never had the chance to buy it. So by them re-releasing it, I may finally be able to find it at Walmart,Target,Fye or Best buy.

To stay on topic.

Who is getting Dumbo next week?

There is a next button toward upper right to go through the small vintage collection in my den. I hope someone enjoys...

Thanks and LMAO - I'm from Los Angeles and was in the streets circa 1986-1994. Had to keep em crispy and Niagra was and still is a mainstay to this day LOL.

Good eye, you must be from the west coast to notice something like that.

Not quite - Midwest.

I haven't creased the t's like that before, but I did at one time use plenty of starch on the jeans.

Same reaction here. While it isn't uncommon for Best Buy exclusives from Paramount to have slipcovers (Almost Famous and The Firm come to mind), I never would have thought all three of these would be lenticular ones. I was going to possibly wait on these, but not likely anymore.

As for the prices, I would expect these to be $14.99 at most. The current prices on Best Buy's website are basically a placeholder until the ad for that week is out.

They did feel cheap and I'm pretty sure the discs were housed in those eco cases. Better packaging indeed and more extras fro the same price.

Yup!! I sure did. Could never find that slip in my area.

Wow!! I can't wait to get all three releases. All classics!!

Now, why couldn't BB/Paramount make a lenticular slipcover for Thor??

That's a great setup. Did you build the cabinet for a Star Wars display or was it in the home already? I like it.

All DVD's so I will put them all in spoilers other than the main haul! All Target exclusives with bonus discs.

More of the Glee pick up. Would have definitely gotten the Blu-ray version because at Best Buy, I saw that Season 2 had the new slim cases (example: regular DVD cases instead of the thick DVD cases), but when I got to Target, I noticed the DVD version had the extra bonus disc so it needed the thick case!

Pictures of all of the bonus discs:

Can't we all agree DVD boxes are so much cool for TV shows then Blu-ray cases???

Also, you might be wondering why I didn't get the Target exclusive X-Men... Well like I said earlier, my Target still has Black Swan exclusive left, but I guess X-Men is more popular in my area. I was almost in tears when the guy told me they were sold out.

And I'll also have all of the seasons of the shows I picked up on Blu-ray as Christmas presents

I've never heard of Tempest, where did you get it from? I was at nearly every retailer and never saw it, and I've never even heard of it.

Yes. Miramax isn't making slips for their catalog titles.

I still don't see them making them at all for bds that arent sets The Scream trilogy should have been a slipbox though a slipcover is nice. All of their other new titles flow together as a collection on a shelf.

Is this rare? It has the movie with slip inside but that price is awful...
