Of the few movies I own, there's only one I haven't watched yet. I've seen the movie on blu-ray, but it was a Netflix rental before I bought a copy.

I don't have that rule but I do try to watch them soon after I get them. I try to get them to pile up a bit so I can watch 6-8 of them at once.

You watch movies for 12-16 hours at a time? (assuming they are 2hr movies)

The most I do EVER is three if I have an entirely free day, which doesn't happen very often.

It's usually just one and done for me.

Out of the 170 movies I currently (or used to) own, I watched every one of them. And that doesn't even include the roughly 120 that I've rented over the last 2.5 years since getting into Blu-ray.

most of the movies I have, I have seen, but There are a few that I have yet to see. I always have a collection of 10 -30 unseen* movies

*unseen= not seen that particular version, it could mean having seen it in theatres or DVD or VHS or an earlier release or a different release, just not that particular copy I have paid for.

I have watched all of them, and most of them a few times. I've only blind bought 1, the rest are movies I really like.

Also, If I don't have the time to commit to the movie as soon as it's bought, I don't buy it.

Bringing a movie home and neglecting it for a day or 2 is pretty damn insensitive if you ask me!

I've watched all of my BD. I almost, if not always, watch right after purchase and rarely purchase multiples together anymore.

That's a great idea! I buy faster than I can watch them, so it's pretty hard to catch up, but I'm trying!

I just use the shelf space, all movies/series/sets go onto the unwatched shelf until they are seen (for multi movie sets and series that means watching all the movies/shows) and then they get sorted with the rest. It also makes it easier, when friends/family come over they know not to ask about borrowing the ones in the unseen section.

Of course I have watched all of the titles in my library. I don't own a film unless it's a great movie and therefore it has been watched and will be viewed again and again in the future.

But deciding to take a brake and having no new movies to see is even worst. Especialy when you think, oh man, by the time I get ready o to the store/rental place, find what i want come home a 1/2 at least would have past and now I don't have time to relax with the movie I went to get. Do you also think "Bringing food home and neglecting it for a day or 2 is pretty damn insensitive if you ask me" and wait until you are hungry to go grocery shopping for the meal and start cooking?
