No way I'm getting a bare bone release! Don't care if it comes with a slip or not! I'll wait for the SE like Avatar!

My goal for October is to buy all the Disney slips I missed over the last 8-9 months. They've only released a handful of titles yet 2-3 versions of each one! Boo! I've never had a Disney slip come in damaged from Amazon for some reason though so I'm going to bite the bullet next week and order as many as possible from them.

How has Amazon been doing with regards to shipping Disney slips? Are they wrapping BDs down to cardboard or have they gone back to just throwing them into a box? Most of my orders with slips used to be larger so they would wrap them down fairly tight.

Still completely random. I've gotten stuff from AMZ that's been in the bubble wrap envelopes and also in boxes and shrink wrapped to the piece of card board.

That sucks. I wish you could request or pay a little more so things can be packed down and padded at least a little bit. I have had them put 5-6 BDs with slips into a huge box before that could probably fit 20 cases in it, and they rolled all over the place. I usually just send them back when it happens though. If they don't want returns from me then they need to take better care with regards to packing. I even put that right into the return reason box.

Last Christmas I got in for the Battlestar Gallactica box set sale and had to return it twice because it was terribly damaged upon arrival. Third time was acceptable, not perfect though, but I kept it already because I was sick of working with them. The first set they sent me was slashed with a knife!

Tonight I was searching online and found a 'Happily N'ever After' with slip for $12. Don't know what shape it's in yet though. Last of the old Lionsgate slips I was missing. It's one of the rarer slips that no one ever seems to mention.

Yeah haven't seen Happy for quite a long time so congrats if you do get it and it's in good condition. Also I wouldn't mind paying a bit more too if AMZ would ship the stuff better. But hey don't return stuff to much or you'll get banned from AMZ hahahahaha.

Has there been any trend in terms of which First Class slip is shipping with Amazon orders? I'm assuming people have gotten both, I'm just wondering if there is a greater likelihood of one over the other.

I still haven't had a chance to pick it up yet, and it's running at $19.99 right now, and I've got a ton of credit.

Agreed. While I have to see for myself if I agree with the review here on Breakfast at Tiffany's of course, classics like Charade that get great treatment (even if Charade is light on the special features) are worth paying more for. Some people like to wait for sales though, which I can't exactly fault either. I may have for Breakfast at Tiffany's if it didn't get a beautiful slip, but I'm ok with the $19.99 price tag I paid to get it from Amazon.

I'm surprised there's no trilogy set since the series has ended.
