I've made a Photoshop template using the dimensions you have given me. If anyone wants it, I'll make a download link for it and post it here.

Here's the two-piece template I made a while back, in case anyone wants the Warner elements, or in case you have a hard time finding extra-length card stock:

Theoretical instructions:
- Print the front/spines on a page and make the necessary folds. Then, cut that out.
- Print and cut out the back.
- Use glue or tape to attach the flaps from the front/spines cutout to your back.

And here is an example of the template filled in, using my Inception design:

would anybody be willing to help me out and create a Slipcover for Glee Season 3? it would use the same cover and back cover as the real release. I just hate that it doesn't match the other seasons. I will pay for what you need and shipping. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

Very very hard but not possible. You would need the proper ink and cardboard as well as embossing machine that can complicated designs. Then once you have that, you still need the image but even then it isn't worth it

I agree with you on that one. Honestly, it's not worth it.

I'd just like it to look like the official one, doesn't have to be embossed or foil.

As much fun this is to make, finding the correct font for the movie to make the spine is very difficult.

I think Grand Theft Auto Vice City had very similar font, I'm sure somebody made a font style for it.

I did a Watchmen slipcover made out of 2 pieces of A4 photopaper.
I used the images for the upcoming Play.com Watchmen steelbook.

I already have the 2-Disc Director's Cut amaray and too much pre-orders, so I could not afford any double dipping.

[Show spoiler]

1. Print them out.

[Show spoiler]

2. Cut them out.

[Show spoiler]

3. Fold and glue them together. I gently folded the spine. Photopaper is not as easy to fold as normal paper, but that does not matter....

[Show spoiler]

4. ... just put an amaray into the sleeve to get shape, so you don't have to force a nice fold. I used an amaray I did not use, like the one you get with a PS3 prepaidcard. So you wont get any glue residue on your current Bluray.

[Show spoiler]

5. It's so reflective that you can see the air balloon which was in front of my window on the middle-right of the slipcover.

[Show spoiler]

6. As you can see I made some alterations. As you can see on Play.com it has rounded edges and instead of resizing it and lose some the the artwork I modified the picture in photoshop. I added a couple of mm to the top and bottom on the front and back.

I also got rid of the text on the back. The spine I did from scratch, credits to the maker of this font: http://www.dafont.com/watchmen.font

The fit turned out great, not too loose or too tight.

If anyone is interested I will upload my .pdf's I made.
If so, I would recommend putting it straight into a protective sleeve. Because I would not try cleaning it with water...

Also credits to Will519 for helping me with his templete, even though I did not use it he was the one that started me doing slipcovers as well.

That looks great Joe013. Really like that back cover. Didn't even occur to me I could make these slips from two sheets of piece with a tab to glue them together. That'll help save some money on paper. You just encourage me to finish up my next two slips.

Btw what are the dimensions you used for your slips?

Update:

Heres my next two slips. Green Lantern and Blue Valentine.
Printed this on semi-gloss photo paper.
[Show spoiler]

Its still loose. My dimensions are still a bit off. It turned out ok to me.
The Green Lantern slip is indeed a steelbook slipcover.

I used 17,1cm x 13,5cm for the front/back artwork, 1,5cm for the spine and 1,5cm for the glue tab.

Amazing slips again! I really like the Blue Valentine slipcover.

I thought of doing some steelbook slipcovers as well, like X-Men First Class [UK], Kick-ass [UK] and my French G1 sized Green Lantern steelbook.
But first I think I might do 2001: A Space Odyssey and Memento.
