I'm just hoping & praying for a complete collection to release within the UK, in any form! Standard box set, collectors box set....I don't care just release them already!

I'm tempted for the Real Ghostbusters collection as it's Region free.

You guys have great releases of cartoon series from the 80s - 90s that never properly released here

The Dungeons & Dragons Collectors set is nice too!

As I kid I was a HUGE fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and when they first came out with the DVDs I debated for a bit of whether or not to purchase them but decided against it because I knew I probably wouldn't watch it that much and plus it has been many years now since I last watched this series. Though I have to admit that I would love to go back and see the episodes that I missed.

Same here & i'm 4 years older then you if the 1984 is correct?

I have to sadly admit though sometimes it's best to leave it alone as what you thought was great as a kid, doesn't hold up today!

I have an excuse to watch them now as my kids will love them......well i'll make them watch them lol!

Yeah, the 1984 is correct. That's true I've gone back before on TV shows or movies that I loved as a kid but after seeing them as an adult it just didn't feel the same. I am still a fan of the TMNT movies though

So, nobody has mentioned, it is now available on Amazon for $69.99 and there is a photo of the box. That seems like a damn good price. Imagine how cheap it might be within a couple years during some lightning deal or DOTD...

$87.49 on Amazon.ca

The Canadian dollar is currently stronger than the US. I don't expect identical prices, but $75-$80 would have been more reasonable.

Spending a shit load of money just because of packaging? Where do you see people doing that? When this was $69.99, I'd say that was a fantastic deal for a complete series regardless of what packaging it came in. People care about getting a uniform set, rather than the mess of volumes and seasons that you have to deal with when getting individual releases. That price was essentially $6.99 a season. You'd be hard pressed to pick up all of the seasons for that price, or have them total up to less than $70 in new condition. I highly doubt you'll find many, if anyone at all paying for this "just because of the packaging".

Just to spell it out further, here's what each season or volume goes for on Amazon:

Vol 1 - $6.40
Vol 2 - $6.97
Vol 3 - $8.41
Vol 4 - $11.03
Vol 5 - $8.93
Vol 6 - $11.29
Season 4 - $19.85
Season 5 - $14.99
Season 6 - $13.58
Season 7 - $17.32
Season 8 - $8.24
Season 9 - $8.80
Season 10 - $7.48

For a grand total of 143.29.

But no no, of course everyone is just paying a "shit load of money just because of the packaging".

My avatar says it all. I'm a collector of TMNT. I already have the individual releases and I'll admit I'm double dipping for the packaging because well frankly it will look nice next to the other two Party Wagons I already have. Agreed with MifuneFan, $69 was a deal instead of piecing together the seasons individually at the moment.

Not that I plan on buying it, but its not like anyone here isn't eating or feeding their family for a ninja turtles set... Disposable income brother.
