I don't think we are doing well at all. Positivity rates still keep rising...

I was speaking of vaccination rate only.
My country dropped the ball, yours didn't.

Doesn't matter. If rates keep going up and don't consistently keep falling, then it means nothing to me if a lot of people are vaccinated. You would think that as vaccinations go up, then positive cases will continue to fall, but that doesn't seem to be happening.

Just used some of the Coronavirus relief/student loan money to pay off my $1500 in credit card debt. That's one less worry, $85 less coming out of my checking account every month and probably one of the best possible uses of that particular money.

Happy/thankful for my parents' willingness to store our belongings indefinitely until we find an apartment and can get back up here with a moving van.

The hot annoying co-worker's last day in our department is Friday and I'm off Friday because I worked Sunday. So I only have to work 3 more shifts with her. Bonus, she barely worked today because she "had a family emergency" and went home almost immediately after clocking in. I'm also going to immediately offer to take her next scheduled Sunday shift before someone else offers to work it.

Here in Canada, our government has failed us with the rollout. Our rate is bad.
Myself, I got the first shot a couple of weeks ago and am unable to book he second until the end of June. Dunno how long after doing that I’ll actually get it.

I don’t understand how you guys have done so well, while we’ve been pretty much pathetic.

Stubborn aren't you?
Read carefully please:

I only commented on how superior the vaccination rate in the United States of America is. Nothing else.
Not your doom and gloom that you've been posting in the Covid and other threads. I hate that shit.

Don't reply to anything else I may say on any of these threads. That's not a request.

Doom and gloom in the happiness thread, jeezus man.

I'm not sure where in Canada you are but I'm in Ontario. Our rollout was not very good because our supplies kept getting cut. People can't get vaccinated with no vaccines. That's why they're now extending the time between doses. This way more people can get vaccinated sooner. As far as a second appointment goes, my second appointment was booked before I left my first appointment. We now have more supplies so the numbers are going up and we're doing better I believe. Stay healthy.

Pretty happy

April 12th was the day that the UK is predicted to have hit Herd immunity.
Between people who have had it, the 35 million vaccinated and those that are immune we have hit around 75% of the population...

All predictions, but happier news for once

Repaired the drip in my bathroom sink this morning. This was my very first time replacing these types of washers. I did watch a couple of YouTube vids for reference. Awesome feeling.

I had a safe trip to KY to get some of my stuff. I'll need a uhaul for the rest. I wish I was capable of getting more stuff but couldn't because of the car is small. been resting up the last couple of days trying to get back into a routine.

I just got an email from work that our rotation is switching to 3 on/3 off, starting in June.
This is much better than the 4/4 rotation that we've been on since the pandemic started.
Right fricken on!

I leave Tuesday but am halfway through the rotation so am doing only two weeks, unless I do OT.
Frick man, I am so happy and relieved.

The side effects kicked in today...achiness and lethargy. Still, managable, and I was able to take a sick day from work, so hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow.
