It was a really good episode. I was a little surprised that even with the death of his son Potter was still acting the same way he always does. I think it was when his wife ripped into him for politicizing the situation and wanting to bring certain people to the funeral that he realized he needed to change. The scene at the end with him and Frank on the front porch was great and seemed to mark a breakthrough in their relationship, especially once he learned that Joe Reagan had been killed by a fellow officer.

The scene where Danny is talking to Potter and says "I have SO much respect for you right now..." was probably the best scene in awhile.

Also, at the end..."Not an enemy...exactly"

To me it sums up the character's interactions with Potter very well. Very vocal from different sides, but in their own way they know the other person is basically a good person.

I was proud of Jack during last night's show. Even though he started to have second thoughts about enlisting, it could still happen for him because he doesn't have to decide now. It was weird to see Danny in the passenger seat of a car for once.

God bless you always!!!

Holly

P.S. Oh yeah, in my opinion, Jamie should've told Erin to stick a sock in it when she said to him that he does too much for people. To me, she doesn't do enough and that is if she does anything at all. She is always giving Danny a hard time saying that he has not brought forward enough to get a person charged at least if not put away. Does anything make that woman happy...besides having a guy in the bed with her?

I hated what happened at the end of this show this past Friday night. Why did that man have to get killed?

God bless you always!!!

I saw tonight's episode! I didn't think that woman at the end had it in her to do what she did!

God bless you always!!!

Holly

P.S. I wouldn't have charged her even if I could. Because of the kid being out of the picture, she would have only been beaten even more.

At the end of last night's re-airing of the current season's opener, a preview for next Friday's new episode was shown and its going to be a good one. It concerns the guy who took out Chief Kent and his wife at the end of season five. The killer's name is Mario Hunt.

God bless you always!!!

I have mixed feelings about the episode that was shown this past Friday. I loved how things turned out for Jamie and Eddie and I loved seeing Frank put the screws to Mario Hunt, but I hated to see what happened at the end with Danny.

God bless you always!!!

This week the show is filming it's 150th episode.

Donnie Wahlberg also did a Facebook Live video during the celebration that was pretty good. I love the videos he does from the set.

That's alot of episodes so far but they have been on for at least 6 or 7 years total believe it started around the same time as the updated Hawaii 5-0 show too.

They did premiere within a few days of each other in September 2010. I hadn't realized that before. I'm surprised CBS has never done a crossover, although I don't watch Hawaii Five-0.

If I recall correctly, the Hawaii Five-0 remake is set in the NCIS universe. Characters from both shows have crossed paths a few times.

The only crossover from Hawaii Five-0 was with NCIS: LA least i think that was the only one believe it was like two episode into each of there shows.

really, really like this show. watching it right now on ion, as a matter of fact. it's usually either on ion or wgn for a number of episodes, at least one day each week. i've seen pretty much every episode more than once, some more than twice or three times. but i just keep on watching it. it's that good, to me.

and i hadn't realized it'd been on for that long. 150 episodes?! that's awesome!!

Yeah, I rarely watch syndicated reruns of shows I'm watching in first-run but I often find myself watching at least a few or several episodes in a row during ION's Thursday marathons. Sometimes I've even left the TV on ION all day and found myself watching a long stretch of them from afternoon until the last one late at night. I think I could count on one hand (with some fingers left over) the number of episodes I thought were disappointing. Most of them, though, I've found pretty solid and can readily watch any number of them over and over.

They show re-runs of Blue Bloods on ION Network Channel don't know the day or times though and they also air older episodes late Saturday night too on its original channel CBS too.

ION's reruns are every Thursday, from 11 AM to about 1 AM. WGN also airs reruns but I don't think in day-long blocks like ION does.

Last night's show was so good. It was really nice what Danny and Detective Baez did for that man at the end. I don't believe that any other detective would've cared about what ended up happening to him. They would've just arrested the guy and that would have been it. I was also glad to hear that Jamie's feelings about his current work position have not changed. Its people like him that this world does not have enough of.

God bless you always!!!

Last night's episode was good. If I had been Nicki, I would've fired back at that woman who jumped on her at the end saying "How am I to blame for your not having the bean bags to stand up to your abusive husband?"

God bless you always!!!
