I wonder if they pull this shit on purpose to encourage double dipping on the complete series set.

They know some collectors tend to be neurotic, so I would guess yes.

Wow, it just hit me that season 7 was 7 episodes. Less episodes and more money

The same happened to TWD's seventh season release. No sales price; sold at full retail price. Just greedy money-hungry companies who take advantage of their fans.

[Show spoiler]

this is now the last straw for me, i will not pick this up and sell my sigil sets on ebay

how stupid can you be to mess up the uniformity on the spine, you would literally have to go in and rearrange the logos on purpose since im assuming all of the previous ones were off a template!

Damn, I wouldn't grab the BB exclusive version for the sole fact they flipped the HBO and Blu-ray logos on the sigil slip, let alone the fact it's $5 more.

not really...lowering the price from the MSRP is not really considered a sale...even more surprising because there are less episodes in Season 7 compared to the usual 10 but they are charging more...I guess consumers have to pay for the blockbuster dragon CGI effects

You guys have short memories. Last year was $40 on release week as well.

But it wouldn’t be a Game of Thrones Blu-ray thread without complaints about the price.

Thats exactly what a sale is. It may not be as low as you want it to be, but they are selling it lower right now than they normally will.

I only paid $33.99 from Amazon, and also got a $5 credit for BD/UHD for No-Rush shipping option. Seems reasonable to me.

Don't see it posted yet--the Target exclusive disc is in the same slim case as the Conquest & Rebellion disc.

Same here. I almost always go with Amazon for movie/TV pre-orders due to the price guarantee, unless there's an exclusive elsewhere that I have to have.
