If anything, it's a new version of The 4400. It also seems like it should be a one and done episode of Fringe... if they sustain it, it could be good, but I'm not sure if they can just keep throwing out questions with no answers anymore like they did with Lost.

First episode was meh. I'll have to watch a couple more episodes, but idk...

So will the ending be that the little boy with cancer is dreaming everything?

Or maybe some alien in another planet predicted this event. And they will come to earth and try to tell those passengers not to enter that plane. But he will get kidnapped first by the government and will be subject to all those nasty experiments. Meaning, the event still happens and now we have an alien.

That way i probably would watch because soon the aliens would come to earth to know what happened to their friend. Yeah, im still sad they cancelled Colony and now we have to endure this kind of "looks promising" shows that will get cancelled if they get great.

I hope to heck that those
[Show spoiler]"Inner Voices" aren't going to be a thing. Hearing "Set them free" over and over got old fast.
Monday nights are a tv wasteland for me so I'll give it a chance to get going.

I should check it out. I don't have more than basic cable at the moment (Thanks Spectrum! ) but I see Netflix has it.

I liked this a lot more than most of you.

Every other show that's been touted as "the next Lost" - FlashForward, The Event, The Whispers, etc. - either got cancelled after one season (FlashForward) or were absolutely terrible (Event, Whispers).

This one is actually pretty good.

My only nitpick is that it was hard to keep track of the characters and how they're related to one another. I'm not too crazy about the voices aspect either, but that could just be a shortcut to bring together the different people who were on the flight so it's plausible that they're now suddenly in each other's lives. We'll see.

Fairly strong start so far, IMO.

So what’s the cutoff? How many episodes will you all give it to win you over? Because as it stands now it can go either way.

It wasn’t a super powerful strong first episode that knocked it out of the park like LOST did, which had me hooked right then and there in episode one. The pilot- 10 out of 10!

But this was a strong 7.75 out of 10. And could go down or up from there

If I’m not blown away by episode four - I’ll probably pack it in

I definitely enjoyed the first episode. I definitely believe
[Show spoiler]the kid
somehow has a great importance to what is going on. I'm intrigued to see where they take this, so I'll definitely continue to watch this. I was trying to figure out where I saw the ex-fiance before and realized he was on Jessica Jones Season 2.

I agree, even though that's kind of a cliche. Didn't
[Show spoiler]Resurrection
do the same thing? I might not be remembering that correctly though - it's been off the air for a few years now.

He was also the guy who was training Laurel in season 3(?) of Arrow, the boxing guy who used to be a vigilante.

The network is pushing this hard it seems. A repeat showing on Friday night.

On second viewing of episode one, it’s easier to see that the writing just isn’t that great- Definitely not as good as the concept

I thought the first and second episodes were fine. Not great, but fine. But the third episode that aired tonight was quite dull. The question is whether the mystery can make some sense or whether it's going to be either incomprehensible or shark jumping.

Haven’t watched the third episode yet (the one from last night), but the second episode was slightly better than the first-

But after hearing you say that the third episode was/is dull, I’m kinda not surprised- but still bummed about it because I wanted this to be a sick show

Ya know what’s a surprisingly great show?

YOU

I don't see how they can stretch it out for multiple seasons though. The whole part about the doctor woman finding stuff in their blood work just screamed "WE'RE RIPPING OFF THE 4400!!", automatically made me think of promicin lol
