Two people pushed me to watch this and I finally gave in, just finished season 2. Wish I had kept waiting, 17 episodes is so little and it's going to be a long wait till season 3.

Both seasons are eight episodes each. IMDb has 17 episodes listed because season three has one listed so far.

Ew that's even worse than most seasons of Game of Thrones lol. Wonder how long they plan for this to go.

The creators previous show Preacher lasted 4 seasons of a total of 43 episodes. So I wouldn't be surprised if this didn't last more than 5 seasons max.

Finished watching it today and itís great fun. It is ever so slightly overstuffed with a couple ideas getting passed by blasť, but obviously part of the fun is that it moves quickly with it tongue firmly in cheek. So it all works although it occasionally slips into flimsy fun despite of itís bleak themes.

Just finished Season 2 tonight. Terrific season. Both the seasons are masterpieces.

Wow. Karl Urban/Butcher looks like an aged Wolverine a lot.

Homelander deserves an Oscar, not an Emmy. He's excellent. Impressive actor.

My only complain is that they "rushed" the Compound V subplot A LOT. Since it was established that the Compound V doesn't properly work on adults, why do they later act as they can create more Supers by giving Policemen the Compound V? Doesn't make any sense.

That said, I would have loved a flashback episode on Stormfront's origins in 1919 and past as nazi woman and even "Liberty". Her origins are just hinted at. I think the show misses that episode so badly. Am I right? Too bad.

Can't wait for Season 3.

I loved both, but things definitely cooled down when they
[Show spoiler]discovered how to control Homelander.

Not a complaint!

Still a while to go until season 3, but in the meantime they are launching a The Boys podcast on April 15. Should be fun.

Fans of The Boys should check out Invincible, also on Prime. It's great and seems to be getting ignored a bit.

I'd be more inclined to do so if Invincible were live-action and not animated.

I figured that was the case with some people, but a good story is a good story no matter the medium.

Waiting for the Season 2 Blu-Ray to be released before I watch my Season 1 Blu-Ray, as I want to watch the show for the first time on Blu (Frak streaming! Australia and the UK got Region B 1080pBD releases for S1). UK has a release date for S2 (late June), fingers crossed for an Aussie release OR I will be importing.
I choose not to stream.
