They didn't have plans for Suspiria, either. I think it all has to do with how well a title will sell. Blue Underground had no plans for their UHD releases until how well the 3-disc sets sold. They made enough from those for the UHD releases. This may come to UHD, but it would need to sell well first.

Yeah, they'd be crazy to announce plans for an eventual UHD release with this Steelbook edition on the way.

Plus other than the first few minutes the film isn't even set in Manchester.

I think the opening is meant to be London, just because the later dialogue has the farmer say to George "Up from London?" without being contradicted.

So on their website it reads $19 for shipping to Canada, with the price of shipping and the Blu-ray would come close to $70 US. With the exchange rate would come to just under $100 CND, I probably will be insane to eventually Preorder as I love this film but the price tag is atrocious.

In this case especially given how hard it is to pickup, ideally both the CD and UHD but I might take the former over the latter.

I'm pretty sure Arrow or Indicator, will release their own version. And much cheaper. I own the blu-ray and it looks and sounds awesome. Plus, I own the DVD with my preferred title, Let Sleeping Corpses Lie. I don't need to double dip for now.

I am not a huge zombie fan, generally speaking, but this is probably my favorite zombie film after Night of the Living Dead. It's got such a great, haunting atmosphere, and the scene where Edna encounters the man coming out of the river and approaching her car is one of the scariest scenes in film history IMO.

I definitely plan on getting this, though I don't care much for steelbooks if I'm being completely honest—I find that they tend to get damaged quite easily. My Synapse steelbook of Suspiria had small chips of paint flaking off of it when I first got it.

Huge fan of this flick. The wait on this one is a little painful. I ordered it the day the preorders went live. Hoping it gets the highly competent upgrade it deserves. It seems from the last blu that the source material may still be in pretty good shape, with strong color and not too much damage. It has a solid chance of looking excellent, if no one has botched it along the way.

Mine should arrive any day now as well. I noticed a shipment in USPS Informed Delivery coming from South San Francisco... and that's where CAV would be located.

It looks like some of those who purchased directly from Synapse are getting theirs shipped out already.
