As far as i know there has been no word on anything to do with the next anticipated Forza title, so MS have got to show some of that off, be it Forza Motorsport 8 or whatever they are going to call it. No-one is expecting Horizon 5, even though theoretically is should be due out this year (2016, 18 and now 20).

Playground supposedly is making the new Fable game, so I wouldn't expect a new Horizon anytime soon. However I think Forza 8 is all but a guarantee.

I thought I read somewhere not to expect anything today in terms of release or price, is that accurate?

I read the same. I wouldn't be surprised if they released info though.

But keep expectations in check

Way I see it, doesn't matter which way you lean. Healthy competition drives competitors, so if MS knock it out the park, then Sony will have to follow suit

Kind of my thoughts too. Thanks for confirming I wasnít crazy though. I read so much different types of news from different sites that it gets hard to remember where I read what.

I'm sure MS will. Anything less would be total incompetence and I'm willing to give MS the benefit of the doubt in this one instance. Obviously they took a look at Sony's event and have tweaked theirs to try and 1-Up them. Then Sony will look at MS' event to day and make tweaks for their August event, and so on and so forth does the competition carousel go round and round!

No hardware reveals either so don't expect Series S to show up. It's purely games focused. I think MS said that specifically as people were expecting it after the PS5 games show surprised with a hardware reveal.

I just want to see some new first party games and Fable.

Hopefully this event will also give us a final release date and price for both Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X.

They are the things they said we won't get today.

This is all about the games today.

The things I'm most excited to see are the games we don't know about. We know Halo will be big but what games we don't know about are going to blow us away?
