Default Ikea Tarva nightstand assembly question for those who have built one.

I'd return it but its outside of the window. I bought this last year in possibly August.

I've tried multiple times since I moved in to my apartment, since march to build this and I can't get past the screws on the side for the drawer rails. I finally noticed that the hole wasn't cut right right so the screw won't actually go to the bottom like its suppose to. Its the small flat phillips screw that came with it. there is another hole like that for the other rail.

If I leave the screw as is it seems the roller won't work so the dawer won't go in.

Or should I take sandpaper or use a drill and smooth it out somehow to get the screw flush

It seems hard to take a picture of it but its like a spot they missed somehow when they made the hole.

Are you positive that you’re using the right screw?
It should be the short stubby one. Very small.
Post a pic when you can.
I’ve built lots of their stuff and have never seen them miss holes. Everything was exact.

It was the small stubby screw. I finally got them in. Trying the rest of it now.
