Collection will wrap up in 2049. Wonder if G2 will be standard then.

Picture clearly shows it is a MetalPak on the Target website. Forget that. Did Target win out having Steelbook this year instead of BestBuy???? I hope not.

The Stock Picture shows metal pack just like it did with Part 1 last year but when Part 1 came out it was a steelbook.

What the Hell? I do not want to wait until 2029 to get all 8 Paramount movies on steel book. Lets hope this starts to get a release pattern similar to the Star Wars 4k steels. I bet a lot of Friday fans would double dip even after the Shout set if Paramount released all 8 steels at the same time. Strange that Paramount doesnt just wait until they release them in 4K.

I have bought each of these films multiple times (VHS, Laserdisc, DVD, Blu-Ray, individuals, complete sets etc.) and obviously Paramount knows me all to well because I can't resist a cool Steelbook and this looks cool.

Can you imagine someone coming into this collection at the tail end and then having to backtrack and find 8 years worth of missing steelbooks?

Part 4 and 5 were super limited so now they aren't even on eBay anymore or some sh!t

Paramount will than release all 8 steelbooks in a single collection while also releasing all 8 films in 4K.

LOL hard pass. It'll likely use the old Paramount scan anyway and not the new one in the box set. (Besides, didn't every self-respecting Friday fan buy the box set in 2020? If you didn't, you should've.)

I haven't seen a single Friday the 13 movie, the only reason I know Jason's mother was the killer in Friday the 13th. Drew Barrymore getting the answer wrong to who was the killer in Friday the 13th at the beginning of Scream.

Yes, but most self-respecting Friday fans who are only fans of the Paramount 8 would rather have those Shout discs inside these glorious steel books (which resemble the classic VHS covers) rather than that ugly Shout box.

Exactly, for those saying that these are boring... this is the original poster art. I wish more did this instead of cheesy photos of one character or some other lame thing

After Paramount releases the eight films as individual steel books, they’ll then release a 4K box set for the 50th anniversary
