Default Just phoned home!!!

My set arrived today!!!

Man...amazon has been dead on lately.

Do you think the turn around is a little quicker if we link through bluray.com???

I used to get my pre-orders on Wednesdays.

Damn...1hr 50min. to go.

Lucy Diamond, it all has to do with where it's being shipped from. I'm in Jersey and whenever my packages are shipped from PA I get them the next day.

I picked this up at Best Buy today, and immediately noticed that Warner had taken the cheap route on the box. For $100 they could do better than this.

Default Hate to say it...

Batman and Robin looks AMAZING!!!

Tons of ADR, so some of the dialogue seems removed from the rest of the track, but all in all a much better experience in Blu.

Normally I would have it now, since it was available to me last week, but considering how much it costs, I decide to wait till I can afford it.

in a time and place where the entire world is trying to save money AND think green, is it that surprising the box set has thin cardboard and thin cases? less space=better IMO

I don't mind the slim cases but I'm not fond of the holder for them (essentially a 4 piece box if you include the boxset info). I wish they'd print the back cover (boxset) information on the box that holds them instead of the partial wrap-around type leaflet. I also like the box for the Matrix a little better than this one since I can slide the movie out with it instead of having to open it. I guess they assume people are going to keep the movies out of the box? Nevertheless, I'm happy to have the movies the blu-ray.

I have this one coming shortly so I'm looking forward to it. From a film standpoint, I still very much enjoy Burton's two films. I also can find entertainment value in Batman Forever, and I won't even mind watching Batman & Robin again because that one is pretty fun to watch just to make fun of it. I'll get my money worth in all sorts/kinds of ways with this release. I've always been a huge Batman fan--while I would concur that Nolan's two films are the superior Batman films, I'm also not a complete Batman snob to where I render the 89-97 versions useless and unwatchable either. They all have some pretty solid entertainment factor--for better or for worse.

Pssss, I'll let you in on a little secret. Buying the UK versions are cheaper than the US ones.

I really want the whole Anthology, but can't bring myself to pay over 70 bucks for it. How much longer will it be until a really good sale/price reduction happens?
