None of my posts get approved

Why does trying to post on this forum feel like pulling teeth? I realize I'm a new member, but Google my username; I have enough message board experience over the years. I don't need to be given the third degree. I posted a legitimate post last night and it still hasn't gotten approved 24 hours later? What exactly do I need to do? Why admit members if they can't post?

It never was this bad I just think we are seeing more traffic and trolls since Warner Bros has announced they are blu-ray exclusive. It's frustrating i know.

If you mean starting a new thread, I believe you need so many posts before it allows you to start a new one. I'm not sure how many you need, but sure someone here knows better than I . Good luck

it sucks but as was said before because of the Warner exclusivity news and the situation over at AVS there's been a lot of trolling and to avoid conflict and the diminished credibility of this site and these forums theres a lot of restrictions on new members.. its not a personal attack, just a precaution

As a new member you can only create threads in the Newbie Discussion forum. After 3 days you will be able to create threads in all sections of the forum. This is to make sure that people use the search function, since it's 99.99% certain that the topic is already being discussed

Except when search doesn't work

These all recently failed for me ... guess I just happened to find two words that were on the 'exclusion list', namely "img" and "tag" (no doubt due to being used in html.. so guess the search isn't smart enough to separate html code from content)
user tag
membership tag
signature img

"Signature image" finally worked/brought up the discussion topic I was looking for, but imo that was a bit of a strech since I was searching for the reason the "img" tag was shut off in signatures (per the forum settings on the bottom of the page).

Apologies in advance if this was a bit offtopic, and hopefully this doesn't come across as too smart-alecky, but I did try searching for:
search fails
search broken

before posting this to no avail.
