I have the 65UH615V and used the settings listed here: http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/lg/uh6150/settings
It's less than a week since I got the TV so I will probably try and do some fine tuning later, but for now I'm pretty satisfied ![]() |

I have 2016 55" LG 4K OLED (not sure of the model off hand).
Is it ever recommended to set Color Gamut to "wide"? I tried it last night while watching the Blu Ray of Crimson Peak and was blown away by how vivid the colors were. However, I read some articles about color gamut and they said color gamut should be at "normal". But that looks so drab by comparison now :-( Any suggestions from people that understand this stuff? |

Sony XBR75850E owner. Large display and we sit fairly close to it. For that reason I had lots of motion settings on to reduce blur in panning and keep me from getting a headache.
I quickly noticed the added interpolation was causing artifact issues. My current setup is my first real attempt at HT so I was unaware of the issues that come with FI. After a little research I the Motionflow setting of High allowed the panning blur to reduce quite a bit but not add artifacts. I still noticed a few rippling effects, mostly from high-glare shots of reflection, flame, lightning, etc. and I determined that was from some of the Cinemotion settings. I changed to True Cinema, which retains the 24fps content without FI and those went away. My wife claims to not see any of the artifacts but I cannot unsee them. I am pretty confident I have eliminated them while trying to maximize the smoothness of the film. |

How do you guys find panning shots with the LG OLED (C7)?
For example, watching 10 Cloverfield Lane 4K, and when they first enter the living room, there is a nice 360 of the area. On my display, it's jittery as hell. I tried to record it on my phone to post, but it came out perfect on the recording LOL Anyone got that title too and do a quick looksee? Player: Oppo 203 |

Ok so i've been messing around with the True Motion setting, and if I have De-Judder set on 5, it makes it a lot smoother. Any less and you still get the judder, anymore and it looks un-natural.
I kept De-Blur at 0, because I don't really like using any extra settings like Motion Eye Care, Noise Reduction etc etc. You'd think you wouldn't need to adjust stuff in order to watch something without issues.. if a panning shot can't come through smooth on the TV in its native format, 4k 24fps then the panel still needs working on surely? |

Opinions on Real Cinema? I was tweaking some settings on my C7 over the weekend while watching Blade Runner 2049 and an article I found said to enable this. It was kind of appearing to have the soap opera effect to me. I have all other processing off (I think most turn off anyway when this is enabled).

I just got the LG C1 series and I’ve got 2 questions. 1, what’s the best settings for the C1 series and my 2nd question is, it says that I can get 3 free months of Apple TV, how do I redeem it for 3 months free, do I just download the Apple TV plus app and go from there?

Hello everybody. I recently placed an order for the LG 86QNED85. It's an upgrade from a Sony 75X900H. I'd love to hear back from any current owners regarding their picture settings. It's been almost a decade since i last owned an LG set.
