I picked up this bfi DVD release and popped it into the player last night. I was immediately drawn into the story and it was never dull, the very long running time passed by easily.

This epic film lives up to its reputation and is brilliantly directed.

Watched:

'Getting Even with Dad' and 'Father and Scout' are both 1:33, so I ended up watching GEWD on Amazon, which has it in HD. It's also the only one of these four films that has a Blu-ray.

Just came in this week.The third and final season of DC's Stargirl.

Season 1 and 2 got Blu Ray releases but not Season 3.I wasn't confident it will in the future so I got the DVD.I rather have DVD then no physical release.

LOL I just bought and watched this too, $3.74 on Amazon, not terrible quality as I'd always heard, though full-frame of course. I see that HBO and others have a widescreen HD version they show, so maybe someday. I enjoyed the movie very much though. Great memory of watching it with my mom as a kid and us having the biggest laugh ever when

After getting burned by a pirated copy from Ebay (factory pressed but each disc was exactly DVD Shrink sized at 4.35 GB, had black cases instead of clear, super lightweight) I finally ordered a genuine but used copy from Bullmoose
