took an L on the AJ1 Next Chapters of course, will keep an eye out for a deal. I did sell a pair of deadstock AJ5 moonlights that I picked up at the Nike outlet last summer and just never wore, decided I was only going to keep my UNC 5's. Didn't make anything off of them really but wanted to clear up some closet space and the money will go towards something I do want. Nothing on the Nike calendar coming up that interests me until the UNC black toes, I expect an L of course.
There are a few of the Yeezy that I will try for but I assume its going to be crazy so just expecting L's there as well.

I didn't even try for the AJ 1 Next Chapter as I have 2 pair of the AJ 1 Origin Story and just felt this pair wasn't necessary. I'll pick up my AJ 6 Toro Bravo Wednesday and hopefully the AJ 14 Laney on Saturday. I've actually sold several pairs of doubles I had and a few pairs I hadn't and wasn't going to wear

I prefer the first release Spider-man AJ1's but prices are cray. I have heard the Next Chapter's look good in hand. No bummed to miss them though, would've been nice to get but I'm not sweating it.

Bought these on an impulse. I had some expiring coupons and Kohl's cash and they happened to have several pairs of these on clearance in my size '13'. I don't think I've ever purchased multiple pairs of the same shoe in one transaction. I've worn other styles and colors of Vans in the past. I like the classic look.

finally pulled the trigger on the White Cements on ebay.

went a half size down from the pair of Fire Reds I had, which I thought ran abnormally big.

Congrats, hope there aren't any defects.

I'm starting to regret not pulling the trigger on em when I had the chance. Felt a lil better when people were posting defects plus I don't like the artificial yellowing, but every time I see somebody with them on they look so damn clean

By defects are you referring to the inconsistencies of the EP or something else?

I looked at all the photos pretty closely and the seller had a perfect rating on about 400 reviews.

…so I’m not too worried about defects.

Authenticity on the other hand…that’s always a concern.😳

I’m embarrassed to admit that I scooped up a pair of the AF1 Supremes in triple white, without even bothering to do any research on the quality.

It was a spur of the moment trigger pull and I was a little surprised that I even hit. Of course once I looked at the price I knew something didn’t smell right. It only took one YouTube video to realize that I paid an extra $8 plus $10:shipping for a regular old GS pair of white AF1s with a tiny red Supreme logo on the side.

The funny thing is, I don’t give a flying bleep about Supreme…never have. I don’t wear their shirts or any of that hypebeast junk. I just assumed, mistakenly, that the leather quality would be higher on these.

…lesson learned.

My Nike By You dunk lows finally came in. I modeled the colorway after a pair of high top Flights I remember having in the early 90s



I know there are only a few Yeezy collectors here but Part I of the fire sale at the end of last month, beginning of this month was surprisingly good to me. Won carbon beluga, utility black and mx cinder runners in my size. Already sold off the runners for a nice profit. Waiting for the utility black, not sure if I will keep those. Carbon belugas may keep, depends on if anyone is interested in picking them up locally. Also won the pirate blacks but not in my size, waiting for delivery. Will flip those and put them towards something I want.
Taking the controversy out of all of that surrounds the man, the shoe line is still going strong based on all the different groups I am in, watching sales in those and on the apps. More releases supposed to be coming later this month, I expect it to be as busy as this last one.

Any of you guys do the sock thing along with the shoes? I'm guessing I'm older than most of you on this thread (I just turned fifty late last month) so I grew up wearing striped tube/crew socks. They kind of fell out of favor in the early '90's and everyone started wearing plain white ones. I'm not sure how popular they are now but at least I can get them again. I recently bought a bunch from Vans and also found a company online called Socco that has some supercool™ stuff too. The ones from Socco are extremely comfortable with seamless toes and cushioning.......not cheap but worth it if you've got FU feet.

Was traveling for work this week and on my way to the airport today I hit up a Nike Factory Outlet and up front they had their heat out on the table. Today was the last day of 30% off in store sale so I picked up a pair of retro 3 Wizards for only $150. Usually don't get predominantly white kicks but these were in my size and I couldn't pass them up at the price.

One of the things I hate about NYC is the outlet store is trash IMO. I only came out of there once with something & that was a pair of boots.
