So it begets the question, if I change countries on my iTunes account to the U.S. will MA sync and pull down into my library those movies I purchased previously while my account was Canadian? I have a pending gift card balance otherwise I would try myself.
For general knowledge, I did hear from someone else converting their U.S. iTunes account to Canada meant they lost access to all of their MA titles. I have a feeling the ownership rights rest at the store level, which leads me to think that if I purchased movies on iTunes Canada and convert to U.S. it might be possible that MA detects the titles and adds them. |

If you ever figure out if that works or not please report back, I have so many old disney blu-ray digital copies in SD that I'd love upgraded too HD. Also, for everyone with two itunes accounts how seamless is it (or not) to switch between the two? I might just make a second account if it's not too much of a hassle.

It’s very seamless, takes less then 10 seconds to switch between accounts. I set up a MA account when I went to states on a weekend and connected my Googleplay and US iTunes account. Although I will say that I do prefer all my stuff in one library and I prefer to pay for movies now that code prices have gone through the roof so I tend to stick with my Canadian account.

Yeah but now I don’t have to switch to my US account on my AppleTV to watch my MA movies, I can stay in my Canadian account and access them through the MA app, just makes it easier for me at least.

Yes, apps that you download to your Apple TV from app stores in different countries will stay on your Apple TV even when switching between iTunes account form different countries. If you stay in your Canadian iTunes profile your MA app will only update once you’ve switched back to your US iTunes.

Has anyone been able to redeem codes directly on movies anywhere from Canada? It seems they detect vpns and block me everytime I try, and with so many codes you buy online, that's the only way to redeem some of them...

Don't use the vpn. You can log in and redeem codes directly on Movies Anywhere in Canada without using it. I always do when I'm redeeming my US codes from the Blu-rays/UHDs that I purchase from there.
