When you guys watch 1.85:1 blu's does it display them properly? Like does it have the tiny black bars on top? mine doesn't.

1.85:1 is full screen, so you're not supposed to have black bars. You're fine, but you should really read some stuff about aspect ratios to get an idea.

On my other tv that is lcd it does and screenshots on this site do to.. i think its the model of tv

I have the same TV and picture does and should be full screen with no bars. I have a feeling you're LCD settings are wrong, maybe you have 4:3 on and that why you have bars. Trust me if it fills the screen then you're Sony is fine.

I have not and picture if fine but I noticed that my picture is getting a little less dimm and I think Im getting there soon.

Saving Private Ryan is 1.85:1 and has tiny black bars at the top and bottom according to others. However on my set it fills the screen. When I go to "display position" in the tv settings and switch it from "normal" to "+1" I can see the tv is over scanning. But there seems to be nothing I can do about it. Am I missing something, can someone explain what's up?

Hy guys,

i am from austria and so sorry for my bad english.

Yesterday, I was in the TVM Service Menu from the KDS; you know

"Power On+Display+5+Vol + + Vol - + Power On" or something like that!

And ther was a register about the TV Model or Info.

AEP 00

My question is what is the standard setting
AEP 00
or
AEP 01

I don't know any more because I pressed one time 3 and then it changes the value.

Now I have the seeting with AEP 00!

Will they be changes when it is on 00 or 01, I wean Display changes?!

I know that my Tv is not the AEP Version!
