Still have my old Sega Master system. The kid in me will bust it out once in a while.
Need to get some new glasses for it tho.

This reminds me of an old Sega submarine game that had 3D. Anyone know the name of the game?

Thanks, it's been a while but I remember liking the game being in 3D. I wish there were more games in 3D.

You're welcome, Jbug. Glad i could help.
I'm not a gamer anymore, grew out of it. But when i was a kid, my friends and
i would ride our bikes to the local arcade, get hyped up on as much junk food as we could and kill it on every game in sight.

I have that system, as well as a Japanese VHD disc player that plugs in the same type of glasses. It doesn’t work on my LCD though because of how it de-interlaces analog video- would these work on a modern projector? That might be enough reason for me to get one if they do.

I've tried field sequential DVDs with my 3-D projector and as I expected it didn't
work. I'd still recommend getting a 3-D projector. I've had my Epson projector
for about 5 years now and it's been a lot of fun.

Cinera features dual next-gen 2560x1440 micro OLEDs, offering incredible vivid images, high contrast ratio, and crispy details. If that wasn’t enough, it also doubles up as a native 3D display with no modification needed.

Anything that promotes 3D in any form is alright by my standards.

Grateful that it's included. Maybe 3D will slowly be reintroduced as an option on monitors. A decade equals a new consumer generation.

I’m in too, but for the right price. I still prefer watching on TV tho.

Their first device never got a wide distribution. And proper reviews are very hard to find. Over at their kickstarter page there are apparently people still waiting for their cinera device and are less than happy that they are releasing a new one without fulfilling the original’s campaign.
Something like this would need to cost less than 500€ for me even think about considering buying one. And the reviews would have to be amazing, specially when it comes to 3D. And the sound also needs to be immersive.
I think there is a better chance of a psvr 2 for the ps5 getting more market share than this.

I'm not aware of its price being made public as of yet. They will be releasing all that information through their newsletter.

I'm a huge 3D fan so paying $500 - $600 for this would be a definite yes.

I'm all for anything that promotes 3D ... but with that said, I can't see myself watching a movie that way. A lot of the fun is in sharing the experience with someone. I can't imagine wearing a head-set and watching in isolation.

For those that enjoy it though, I'm glad it's available.

You don't have to imagine it because VR users are giving reviews all day and night on YouTube regarding wearing headsets. You make it sound like a torture device yet have never experienced it.
