I have built up a small collection of posters over the years with many signed and i was wondering the best way to keep them in good shape? Right now i have them all rolled together and loosely ruberbanded with a least impotent one on the outside. however the outside one has ripped when i unroll to swap posters. I have looked for a binder of sorts, but i can't find anything like what i am envisioning. I would prefer to keep them flat which is why i thought of a binder. So how to you store your posters?
Thanks for any help! ![]() |

http://www.engineersupply.com/large-file-folders.aspx Check local engineering supply or perhaps an engineering or architectural office near you. They are used to store blueprints and maps in a flat file. |

If you have plenty of room you could look for a plan chest and keep them seperate with acid-free boards, tissue or Mylar. Or you could use acid free archive boxes for valuable items, there's less chance of the ends being damaged by a box than there is by a tube with plugs.

I don't see why not, provided you keep them in a cool dry place. I have several posters in my inventory that are individually rolled but stopped doing that mainly due to running out of room, now I store titles around 20-25 per title in a roll and then boxed. Every so often though I do replace the poly bag ones with new poly bag tubing material.

I kept my eye out on craigslist for a large flat file cabinet. I ended up finding one for $75 that fits One Sheets and Quads perfect. They do take up a bit of room, but you could turn it into a coffee table, etc.
