Which PS1 game would you want to see remastered for current/next gen?

as the title says...

for me, i'd LOVE to see gran turismo (the original) redone for either ps4 or ps5. i don't want anything about the game changed, except for the graphics. give me the same music, the same cars, the same tracks, the same modes, the same series of races...the same game with updated graphics.

i put in many, many, many hours on that game. when i was heavily into it, i was living in an apartment with a roommate. and it was almost a literal race every day to see who could get home first, from work, and start playing. we'd each have a go at it for about an hour at a time.

if sony did that...hell, i might have to call in sick to work a couple days just so i could play it.

I would like to see gorgeous remakes of Parasite Eve 1 & 2...
An amazing franchise that sadly was left behind...
And the original Silent Hill...
That game changed everything to me...
So cinematic...
That was around the time I first saw Lost Highway and the two are like these beautiful intertwined nightmares in my mind...

I'd love to see remakes of the other classic-era Tomb Raider games, but only if they were done faithfully. If it they were to be in the same vein as Anniversary, then I'd rather they didn't bother.

Same here; I loved lots of games from 5th gen and still do, but the 3D/polygon games would do well with re-done character models and worlds.

Metal Gear Solid 1.
Just take the Japan-only Integral Edition and make it run in 4K/HD 16:9, and maybe even 60fps. Not a remake (since we already have one and it's called The Twin Snakes), just the PS1 version but in a higher resolution and widescreen.
In an ideal world, Bluepoint Games would've done this as part of the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection but they didn't remaster it because they felt the gameplay was too outdated, and they didn't remaster The Twin Snakes remake because Nintendo was involved in it's production.

I really wish for a new Metal Gear Solid: The Legacy Collection for current-gen and next-gen consoles, PC and the Nintendo Switch.
It would all of the Kojima-directed Metal Gear games and also Metal Gear: Ghost Babel, Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops (and Portable Ops+) and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance in one package, with the non-Kojima games being segregated from the ones directed by Kojima.

There would also be platform-exclusive content for both Nintendo and Sony.
Sony would get some extra PlayStation product placement on MGS1 and MGS4 (it would all be edited on the other releases), as well as Snake vs. Monkey in MGS3 while Nintendo would get an HD Edition of The Twin Snakes exclusive to the Nintendo Switch (because Nintendo helped with the production and they control some of the rights in this remake).

MGS2, MGS3 and The Twin Snakes would also come with an Enhanced mode with some of the extra features that were in MGS4 like crouch-walking similar to the 3DS version of MGS3.

All of the games will also be multilingual and will give you the option to play with English or Japanese voice acting (English-only in The Twin Snakes and there are additional European languages in MGS1) with multiple subtitle options.
